은평지부(지부장:차은경)는 선정중·고등학교에서 열린 다문화가정을 위한 ‘행복 더하기 김장 축제’에 참석하였다. 은평지부 여성연합 회원 10명은 3일 동안 1,500 포기의 배추를 학생들과 학부모, UPF 여성국장과 함께 준비하였다. 특히 전달식이 있던 날에는 문훈숙 이사장, 은평구청장, 내외귀빈들이 함께 동참하여 김장을 담았고 이후 다문화가정들에게 정성껏 전달하였다. 또한 은평지부는 매달 꾸준하게 바자회를 열고 있으며 바자회를 통한 수익금으로 다문화가정 자녀 3명을 선발하여 장학금을 전달하고 있다.

The Eunpyeong Branch of Seoul

The Eunpyeong Branch(Branch Leader:Eun Gyeong Cha) took part in the ‘Happiness-adding Kimchi making Festival’ for multicultural families, held at Sunjung Middle and High School. Ten members of the WFWP Eunpyeong Branch prepared 1,500 kimchi cabbages together with the students, parents, and the director of the Women’s Department of the UPF. In particular, on the day of the presentation ceremony, Chief Director Hoon Sook Moon as well as the Director of the Eunpyeong District Office and other important guests also took part in making kimchi, which was afterwards presented cordially to multicultural families. In addition, the Eunpyeong Branch  holds bazaars every month without exception, and the proceeds of the bazaars are presented as scholarships to three children selected from multicultural families.
