괴산지부(지부장:시미즈 준꼬)는 9월 2일과 10월 3일, 괴산명덕초등학교 목도고등학교, 증평정보고등학교, 증평여자중학교 학교 등 지역 학교에서 학생들을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 다문화 이해 교육’을 진행했다. 베트남, 필리핀, 일본의 옷 문화에 대해서 설명하고 직접 입어보는 체험의 시간을 가졌다. 또한 베트남 음식인 월남쌈과 일본 음식 코롯케, 필리핀 음식 룸피아, 필리핀 음식 바나나 뚜런을 시식하는 시간도 함께 가졌다.

또한 괴산지부는 충북여성단체협의회에서 주최한 ‘여성단체협의회체 역량강화 워크숍’에 여성연합 회원 2명이 참석하여 타 여성단체들과의 교류와 각 단체의 활동내용을 공유하였다.

The Gwesan Branch of North Choongcheong Province gave a Visiting Workshop to Understand Multiculture

The Gwesan Branch (Branch Leader: Junko Shimizu) gave a ‘Visiting Workshop to Understand Multiculture’ on September 2 and October 3 for students of local schools, including Gwesan Myeong Deok Elementary School, Mok Do High School, Jeung Pyeong Information High School, and Jeung Pyeong Girls’ Middle School. They explained the clothing culture of Vietnam, the Philippines, and Japan, and had a session for the students to try the clothes on. Moreover, they also had a session to sample Vietnamese food, Gỏi cuốn (spring rolls), Japanese food, Croquettes, and Filipino food, Lumpia and Banana Turon.

In addition, two members of the WFWP's Gwesan Branch attended the ‘National Council of Women Empowerment Workshop’ hosted by the North Choongcheong Council of Women, in which they held exchanges with other women’s organizations and shared information on the activities of each organization with others.
