전남지부(지부장:데라와키 유카리)는 지난 7월 20일 영암지부에서 유방암으로 2년간에 4번 수술하고 계속 방사선치료를 받고 있는 회원을 돕고자 전남지부가 함께 모금활동을 하여 위로금을 전달했다. 또한 각 지역에서 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있다. 

구례지부(지부장:김현순)는 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 활동을 활발히 진행하고 있다. 지난달에는 25구좌를 개설하였다.

곡성지부(지부장:후지야마 게이꼬)는 7월 21일 곡성지부강당에서 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 바자회를 열었다.

영광지부(지부장:로사린다 엘 아르세오)는 7월 26일 비룡 요양원, 백학리, 월흥리에서 쑥뜸봉사을 했다. 방학기간 이어서 학생들이 함께 동참하여 활동에 참여하였으며 쑥뜸을 받은 마을 어르신들도 감사하다며 활동이 지속적으로 이루어지기를 바라셨다.

The South Jeolla Branch (Branch Leader: Yukari Terawaki) held a full-scale fundraising event on July 20 to help a member of the Yeongahm Branch, who has breast cancer and has had to go under the knife four times in two years, and who has to continue receiving chemotherapy, and presented her with the collected donations. The Gurye Branch (Branch Leader: Hyeon Soon Kim) is actively carrying out activities for the ‘1% Love Share Project’. Last month, they opened 25 accounts.

The Gokseong Branch (Branch Leader: Keiko Fujiyama) held a ‘1% Love Share Project’ bazaar at the Gokseong Branch lecture hall on July 21.

The Yeonggwang Branch (Branch Leader: Rosalinda L. Arceo) performed a moxa treatment service on July 26 at the Biryong Nursing Home, Baekhak-ri, and Wolheung-ri. It being the summer vacation, students also took part in the volunteer work, and the elders of the village who received the moxa treatment thanked them and hoped that the service would be continued regularly.
