지난 5월 25일, 주한외국인지부는 여성연합 세계본부 세미나실에서 26명이 참석한 가운데 ‘5월의 커피 모닝’ 정기모임을 가졌다. 5월의 발표자는 전 워싱턴 타임즈의 기자이자 미디어 전문가인 황 캐서린 씨로 ‘중앙 왕국(중국) 안에서의 삶’이란 주제를 가지고 중국에서 보낸 지난 20여 년간의 삶에 대해 이야기하였다. 우리의 이웃나라인 중국에 대한 솔직한 견해와 자신의 경험을 들려준 것에 대해 감사의 마음을 가졌다.

IWK (the International Women in Korea) - May Coffee Morning “Life Inside the Middle Kingdom”

The International Women in Korea (Branch Leader: Elizabeth Colford) hosted their monthly Coffee Morning in the fourth floor seminar room of the Headquarters on May 25, with 26 members and guests in attendance. The speaker for May was Mrs. Kathleen Hwang, former journalist and media expert of the Washington Times newspaper, who spoke of her 20 years living and working with her family in China under the title “Life Inside the Middle Kingdom”. All who attended were grateful for such an illuminating and candid look at our neighbor to the east.
