영등포지부(지부장:유순용)는 5월 12일 50여명의 회원이 참석한 가운데 월례회의를 개최하여 본부소식 공유하였다. 회의를 통해 영등포지부 임원진을 개편하여 최순임 부지부장, 와따나베 총무를 선임하였다.

5월 15일, 영등포 여성협의회에서 주최하는 ‘출산장려와 여성친화’ 백일장 대회에 영등포지부 회원 15명이 참석하였으며 와따나베 히사꼬(총무)회원이 최우수상을 수상하였다.

또한 5월27~28일에는 영등포 여성협의회가 주관하는 ‘구립경로당 밑반찬 봉사활동’에 유순용 지부장이 참석하여 밑반찬을 만들고 경로당에 소속된 어려운 노인들에게 반찬을 나누어주는 활동을 했다.

The Yeongdeungpo Branch of Seoul participates in the Women’s Association Composition Contest and carries out a Preserved Side Dishes Service at the District-sponsored Center for the Elderly

The Yeongdeungpo Branch (Branch Leader: Soon Yong Yu) held their monthly meeting on May 12 with more than fifty members in attendance, where they shared news from the Headquarters. Through the meeting, they reorganized the staff members of the Yeongdeungpo Branch, and Deputy Branch Leader Soon Yim Choi and Manager Watanabe were newly appointed.

On May 15, fifteen members of the Yeongdeungpo Branch participated in the Composition Contest for ‘Birth Encouragement and Friendship of Women’, hosted by the Yeongdeungpo Women’s Association, and member Hisako Watanabe (Manager) won the first prize.

In addition, on May 27 and 28, Branch Leader Soon Yong Yu participated in the ‘Preserved Side Dishes Service at the District-sponsored Center for the Elderly’ hosted by the Yeongdeungpo Women’s Association, where she took part in making preserved side dishes and sharing them (out to the) with the needy elderly people of the Center for the Elderly.
