전남 보성지부(지부장:사또 기미꼬)는 5월14일~19일 한국 차소리 문화공원에서 열린 제39회 보성다향제 녹차대축제에서 ‘지구가족사랑 1%운동’ 모금 활동을 전개했다. 솜사탕 만들기, 풍선낚시, 기모노 입어보기 체험 장과 일본⁃ 필리핀 전통음식, 베트남 커피 등 판매하였다.                  

보성문화관광과에서 주관으로 보성지부 회원5명은 일본어 통역사로 관광안내를 돕기도 했다.

5월16~20일에는 복내초등학교 급식실에서 ‘다문화 체험학습’을 개최하여 60명의 학생들이 참석하여 일본음식-야기소바, 태마끼스시, 미타라시 단고, 필리핀음식-룽피아, 태국음식-덕적과자를 체험하는 시간을 가졌다. 

The Boseong Branch of South Jeolla Province - ‘1% Love Share Project’ Activities in the Boseong Green Tea Festival

The Boseong Branch of South Jeolla Province (Branch Leader: Kimiko Sato) held a fundraising event for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ at the 39thBoseongGreenTeaFestivalheldattheKoreanTeaandPansoriParkfromMay14to19.Theyhadaboothforcottoncandymaking,balloonfishing,andtryingonkimonos,andtheyalsosoldJapaneseandFilipinotraditionalfoodandVietnamesecoffee.

Five members of the Boseong Branch also worked under the Boseong Culture and Tourism Division as Japanese translators to help in the guiding of tourists.

From May 16 to 20, they hosted the ‘Multicultural Experience Class’ in the dining hall of Boknae Elementary School, where the sixty or so participating students took the opportunity to taste Japanese food (Yakisoba, Temaki-sushi, and Mitarashi Dango), Filipino food (Lumpia), and Thai food (Thai cookies).
