지난 4월 23일, 여성연합 중앙위원(회장:박미화)은 보령시 초청 ‘여성지도자 보령시 현장체험’행사를 열었다.

이날 본 연합의 ‘21C여성지도자양성과정’ 교육을 이수한 수료생으로 구성된 중앙위원 1기~7기생 38명과 보령지부장(지부장:구은지)외 3명의 회원들이 함께 참석하였다. 특히 이시우 시장(보령시)이 개회식에 참석하여 중앙위원들을 환영하였으며 지역특산물인 머드팩 세트를 기념품을 전달했다. 이 후 보령시홍보관, 개화 예술 공원, 신진수산맛김 공장, 옥계리(지역명)회관에 위치한 농어촌 방풍나물재배지를 둘러보며 보령시 탐방과 견학의 시간을 가졌다.

여성연합의 중앙위원은 매월 자체 월례회의와 더불어 초청강연을 개최하며, ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 일일카페와 바자회 등 다양한 활동을 펼치고 있다.

Central Committee Members’ ‘Women Leaders Boryeong City Field Experience’

On April 23, the WFWP Central Committee members (Chairperson: Mi Hwa Park) hosted the ‘Women Leaders Boryeong City Field Experience’ at the invitation of Boryeong City.

On this day, thirty-eight Central Committee members from the first to the seventh class graduates who completed the ‘21stC Women Leaders Nurturing Curriculum’ of the WFWP, and three WFWP members attended the event. In particular, Mayor Shi Woo Lee (Boryeong City) attended the opening ceremony and welcomed the Central Committee members, presenting them with mud-pack sets, a specialty of the city. Afterwards, the participants were given an opportunity to take a field trip through Boryeong city, visiting the Boryeong City Exhibition Hall, Gaehwa Art Park, the Shinjin Fisheries Seasoned Laver Factory, and medicinal herb cultivating fields in the fishing and agrarian villages located in Okgye-ri Hall.

The Central Committee members of the WFWP hold their own monthly meetings and also host invitational speeches every month, as well as take part in various activities, including the hosting of one-day cafés and bazaars for the ‘1% Love Share Project’.
