경기북부 파주지부(지부장:한명희)는 3개월 교육과정으로 미술 Food 테라피와 노래로 배우는 한국어(발음교정) 교실을 지역 다문화가정 여성을 대상으로 진행하고 있다.

지난 2011년 12월에 시작된 교육은 2012년 2월에 1기 수료, 5월 2기 수료,  8월 3기 수료식을 가졌다.

현재는 4기 교육생들이 지난 10월4일부터 라는 주제로 개강되어 교육이 진행 중에 있다.

매 회기를 거듭하면서 권종인 사모( 현 파주시장), 석필남 회장(여성단체협의회)이 수료식에 참석하여 축하를 하기도 했으며, 무궁화 장학회장과 대한 어머니회장 등 지역 여성지도자들이 교육 프로그램에 동참하여 함께 하고 있다.

한명희 지부장(파주시)은 지역의 다문화가정 여성들이 마음을 열 수 있는 다양한 ‘포괄적 테라피 프로그램’으로 진행할 것이라는 계획과 의지를 전했다.

Paju Branch of Northern Gyeonggi Province

Paju Branch (Branch Leader: Myeong Hee Han) of Northern Gyeonggi Province holds 3-month long programs of ‘Art Food Therapy’ and ‘Learning Korean through Songs (Pronunciation correction)’ classes for local women from multi-cultural families.

The programs, first begun in December 2011, had the first graduation ceremony in February 2012, the second in May, and the third in August.

At present, the fourth class, commenced on October 4 last, is in progress under the title of .

The program is growing with every class, with Mrs. Jong In Kwon (current mayor of Paju) and Chairperson Pil Nam Seok (Korean National Council of Women) coming to attend the graduation ceremony and offer their congratulations. In addition, local women leaders including the Rose of Sharon Scholarship Foundation and the Korean Mothers’ Association are also taking part in the education program.

Branch Leader Myeong Hee Han (Paju) said that it was her plan and intention to hold diverse ‘Integrated Therapy Programs’ to help open the way to the hearts of local women residents from multi-cultural families.
