경남 진주시지부(지부장:한규자)는 지난 2012년 4월15일 진주시 통일회관에서 문난영 회장을 모시고 37개 동지부장과 회원 및 평화대사와 산수원 회원 등 160여명이 함께한 가운데 동지부장 및 회원교육을 성황리에 개최하였다.

교육은 차태선 지부장(UPF)의 사회로 시작 되었으며 한규자 지부장(진주시)의 축사와 활동보고, 문난영 회장의 간증과 성경 속에 나오는 사마리야 여인과 예수님과의 관계를 설명하는 것으로 교육은 진행되었으며 참석한 청중들이 감동감화 하는 시간이 되었다.

UN NGO 세계적인 여성 단체 중에서 민간단체로서는 1급 자문기관으로서 세계적인 활동들을 직접적으로 영상을 보면서 회원 및 참석한 평화대사들과 지도자들 모두 여성연합의 세계 활동에 대해서 잘 알 수 있게 되었다.

진주지부 회원들은 먼 길을 찾아 주신 고마운 마음과 은혜와 감동을 준 강연에 감사드리며 회원교육을 기반으로 더욱 도약하고 발전하는 경남 진주시 지부가 되기를 다짐했다.

Jinju Branch, Southern Gyeongsang Province, holds the Dong Branch Leaders’ and Members’ Workshop

Jinju Branch (Branch Leader: Gyu Ja Han) of Southern Gyeongsang Province successfully hosted the Dong Branch Leaders’ and Members’ Workshop on April 15th 2012 at the Unification Hall in Jinju, attended by more than 160 participants including Dong Branch Leaders and members from 37 Branchs and Ambassadors for Peace and Sansuwon members, under the leadership of President Lan Young Moon.

The workshop was emceed by Branch Leader Tae Seon Cha (UPF), and Branch Leader Gyu Ja Han (Jinju) gave a congratulatory address and an activities report. After that, President Moon gave a testimony and explained about the relationship between the Samaritan woman and Jesus as recorded in the Bible, and the participants were deeply moved and impressed.

The participating members, Ambassadors for Peace and leaders also watched a video clip depicting the worldwide activities of WFWP, which is a global women’s organization and an NGO in general consultative status under UN, and they came to know more clearly about the activities of WFWP.

Members of Jinju Branch expressed their gratitude to the speaker for coming so far to give such a heart-moving speech, and they resolved to make Jinju Branch of Southern Gyeongsang Province a Branch that can move forward and develop even further based on the education of its members.
