영암군지부는(지부장:시즈미 요오꼬) 12월18일 영암군청소년수련관에서 360명이 참석한 가운데 다문화가정 크리스마스 축제행사를 개최하였다.

영암군지부에서는 21C여성지도자 포럼을 실시한 후 지부 후원으로 영암군 다문화가정 협의회를 창립하게 되면서 크리스마스 축제 및 모범 다문화가정을 선발 시상식을 가졌다.

이때 시상식 상금 및 상품비 500여 만원을 평화대사 및 후원 단체에서 지원 받았으며 시상자는 지역 기관, 단체장(부군수, 군의장, 학교장, 군의원, 읍.면장, 여성단체협의회장, 손숙희 지부장 등) 이 직접 참석하여 시상하였다.

Yeongahm Chapter of Southern Jeolla Province holds a Multi-cultural Family Christmas Festival

The Yeongahm County Chapter (Chapter Leader: Yooko Shizumi) held a Multi-cultural Family Christmas Festival at the Yeongahm County Youths’ Training Center on December 18th, with 360 participants in attendance.

The Yeongahm County Chapter, after hosting the 21C Women Leaders’ Forum, founded the Yeongahm County Multi-cultural Family Council sponsored by the Chapter and thus came to hold a Christmas Festival and an award ceremony to select and honor exemplary multi-cultural families.

The 5 million won used in giving the prize money and gifts was provided by Ambassadors for Peace and sponsor organizations, and the awards were presented by heads of regional agencies and organizations (Deputy County Magistrate, County Chairman, School Principal, County Assemblyman, Heads of towns and townships, President of the Council of Women, Chapter Leader Sook Hee Son, etc.)
