인천지부(지부장:권선화)는 10월3일 개천일, 경기도 고양시 어울림누리 별무리경기장에서 경기도 문화의 전당이 주최하고 경기도 고양시 제92회 전국체육대회, 한국기록원 등이 후원하는에 참가하였다.

그 동안 지부특성화사업을 통해 열심히 배운 사물놀이를 다문화가정 풍물단 ‘아주’가 처음으로 의상을 갖춰 입고 밖에서 그 동안 배운 실력을 연주하는 날이었다.

특히 사물놀이의 대부인 김덕수 선생의 지휘로 전국에서 모인 2011명의 연주자와 함께 세계 기록에 도전한다는 뜻 깊은 자리에 함께 할 수 있어서, 많은 것을 배우고 좋은 경험을 할 수 있었다.

이후로 10월7일은 인천시 서구노인복지회관에서 어르신들 300여명 모인 가운데 위문공연을 하기도 했다.

노인복지회관 관장님과 그동안 맺어온 인연으로 축제 자리에 초대되어 공연을 한것이다.

풍물단원들을 ‘총재님의 소개로 한국 남편과 결혼하여 인천에 온 며느리들’이라고 소개하면서 총재님의 가르침과 참사랑의 이념을 전하기도 했다.

그 자리에 한 단원의 시어머니도 참석하고 있어서 무대에 달려와 며느리를 껴안으시는 감동적인 장면도 있었다.

약 15분의 공연이 끝난 후에도 앵콜 박수가 이어져, 예정에 없었던 노래까지 불렀다.

한 어르신은 "감동한 나머지 눈물이 났다"고 칭찬을 해주시고, 전체가 아주 기뻐해 주셔서 큰 보람을 느꼈다.

한국 고유의 풍물소리로 전 세계에 어머니의 사랑을 알리겠다는 다짐을 굳게 하고 매주 연습에 임하고 있으며, 단원들의 숫자도 늘어나고 있다.

또한 인천지부는 민족복귀를 위한 심정으로 총재님의 자서전을 전체 회원들이 함께 모여서(50명) 2011년 8월 9일에 인천광역시 시청을 필두로 교육청, 남동구청, 연수구청, 남구청 등을 방문하여 공무원들에게 3,000권 이상을 보급 활동을 하였다.

Incheon Branch

On October 3, the Incheon Branch (manager: Kwon Sun Hwa) participated in the '2011

Heaven and Earth Festival' which is supported by the Gyeonggi-do Goyangsi 92nd National Athletic Meet, and the Korea Record Institute. It was held by the Gyeonggi-do Culture & Art center at Gyeonggi-do Goyang-si Oulimnuri Star Group (별무리) Stadium. It was the first day of "Aju" Multicultural Family Pungmu (instruments for Korean

traditional percussion music) Group's performance outside with costume. They diligently learned samulnori (traditional percussion quartet) through a branch
specialization business course.

Especially, it was a great experience to share many good things and challenge a new world record under the baton of Mr. Kim Duk Soo who is the godfather of samulnori .

After that on October 7, the group 'Aju' performed for 300 elders who gathered from Incheon-si Seo-gu Senior Welfare Center.
'Aju' was invited by the director of Senior Welfare Center because the WFWP Incheon branch developed a relationship with him.
In the performance, Aju members were introduced as daughters-in-law who were married with Korean husbands, with an introduction from President Moon. She introduced the founders’ teaching and ideology of True Love.
A mother-in-law of one of the Aju group members was a participant; it was such a touching scene when she came up to the stage and hugged her
daughter-in-law.

When the 15-minute performance was over, Aju sang an extra unplanned song because of encore applause.
Every week members train under the determination that they will give wider publicity to the mother's heart through Korea's traditional pungmul sound. Membership is increasing now.
Also, the Incheon branch actively disseminated True Father's autobiography, visited Incheon City Hall and the local education office, and gave out more than 3,000 books to public employees.
