전북 익산지부는(지부장:강명숙)는 원광대학교 취업 박람회에서 3월 31일 봉사활동을 했다.

자원봉사센터로 부터 지원 요청을 받아 여성연합 익산지부를 포함한 관내 단체들은 박람회 안내 및 차 와 식수 보급 등 지역 주민과 학생들을 위한 봉사에 참여하게 되었다.

또한 백제요양원 어르신들에게 발 맛사지를 해드리는 봉사 활동이 4월 5일 있었으며, 5월 9일, 23일에는 익산 백세요양원에서 개최한에 봉사위원으로 참석하여 어르신들을 위한 노래봉사활동을 했다. 매월 2회에 걸쳐 참여하고 있는 회원들은 지역에 다시 봉사로 환원 할 수 있는 기회라며 기쁜 마음으로 활동하고 있음을 전했다.

또한 5월 16일과 26일에는 이리고등학교에서 강좌를 열었다. 제2외국어로 일본어를 배우고 있는 고2 학생들에게 문화체험의 시간으로 일본 음식인 만들기 요청으로 진행하였다. 일본음식을 일본사람에게 일본어로 배우면서 학생들은 재미와 많은 관심을 갖는 시간이 되었다.

Jeollabuk-do Iksan Branch

Jeollabuk-do Iksan Branch (Branch Manager Kang Myeong-sook) did volunteer work at the Wonkwang University Career Fair on March 31.

They worked with other groups volunteering to supply tea and water to citizens and students.

Also, they volunteered with foot massages at the Baekje Sanatorium on April 5 and participated in the Joint Birthday Party at the Iksan Baekse (means 100 years) Sanitarium on May 9 and 23.

They provide massage service twice a month and are glad to do it as it is an opportunity to offer service to the community.

On May 16 and 26, they held a class, "Japan Culture Experience -Takoyaki (Japanese food)" at Iri High School. This class is for high school sophomores who are learning Japanese language, who asked them to teach how to make Japanese food.
