울산지부(지부:김영화)는 지난 11월 24일 울산 한국폴리텍대학(기능대학)「일자리 창출을 위한 취약계층 간판디자인과정」교육을 마치고 26명의 다문화회원들이 수료식에 참여 했다.

일본, 필리핀, 캄보디아, 몽골, 인도네시아 등 5개국의 회원들이 참여 했다. 이번 교육과정을 수료 한 일부 회원들은 취업을 했으며, 또한 심화교육과정에 참여하는 등 지역 전문여성인력으로서 준비를 하고 있다.

또한 12월 17일 울산 중부경찰서에 새로 취임한 외사계 이영호 계장은 울산다문화가정사랑나눔회 중구센터에서 울산지부 회원들과 울산거주 외국인 여성들과의 간담회를 가졌다. 이날 간담회를 통해 경찰서 외사계에서는 지역 다문화가정 여성들과의 연계활동에 적극지원을 하겠다는 의지를 전했다. 지역활동에 열심을 다하고 있는 울산지부는 지난 11월1일자 울산여성신문에 활동내용의 기사가 실리기도 했다. 울산지부는 2011년 한해도 더욱 열심을 다할것이라는 의지를 전했다.

Ulsan Branch

Kim Young-hwa, branch manager of the Ulsan Branch, and 26 members attended the graduation ceremony of the Sign Design Course on Nov. 24 at Korea Polytechnics College to help disadvantaged persons find a job.

Five countries' members from Japan, Philippines, Cambodia, Mongolia and Indonesia attended the ceremony; some of them have already got a job and the others are attending further education as professional women. Also, Ulsan Branch members and foreign women residing in Ulsan had a meeting at the Ulsan Multicultural Family Sharing Love Jung-gu Center with Mr. Lee Young-ho, who was newly appointed as section chief dealing with foreigners at Ulsan Central District Police Station on Dec. 17.

Through the meeting, the foreign department promised active support for activity related with local multicultural family women. In addition, the hardworking Ulsan Branch had a story in the Ulsan Women Paper on Nov. 1.
