2010지부특성화사업

- 전북 장수지부

8월 20일 전북 장수지부(지부장: 허호자)에서는 지부 특성화사업인「신나는 공부방」프로그램을 운영하여 다문화가정희망센터 아이들과 함께 순창에 있는 산림박물관과 강천산에 견학을 다녀왔다.

엄청난 비를 쏟아 붓는 계속 되는 궂은 날씨로 걱정했는데 감사하게도 이날은 아주 날씨가 좋았다.

산림박물관에서는 각 조별로 「하나님의 창조물인 자연 속에서 사랑을 배우자」는 미션을 통해 산림에 대한 소중한 역사보존과 산림체험을 경험하게 되었다. 함께한 학생들은 서로 협동 단결하는 모습으로 미션을 수행하는 모습을 보여 주었다.

점심식사 후 강천산 국립공원으로 이동하여 병풍폭포에서 짐을 풀고, 구장군폭포 (마한시대 아홉 명의 장수가 전쟁에서 패하여 이 폭포까지 쫓겨 들어와 자결하려다 다시 죽을 각오로 전투에 임해 승리하였다는 전설이 있는 폭포)까지 왕복 2시간이 넘게 걸리는 거리를 맨발로 걷기에 모두가 함께 도전하는 체험을 하였다.

참석한 학생 중 최정연 학생(초3학년)은 다리가 불편한 장애학생임에도 왕복 4Km가 되는 거리를 조금의 망설임 없이 맨발로 도전하여 모두의 귀감이 되었으며, 과체중으로 몸이 무거운 이태현 학생(초2학년)은 Em거운 햇볕아래 맨발로 걷는 것을아주 고통스러워했으나 끝까지 도전하여 박수를 받았다.

미션 수행과 더불어 등산을 마친 후 병풍폭포 옆에서 신나는 물놀이로 모든 피로를 말끔히 씻어내면서 참석한 아이들은 자연 속에서 하나님의 사랑을 배우고 자존감과 소통에 대한 많은 것을 체험하면서 즐겁고 보람 있는 견학일정을 보냈다.

2010 Branch Specialization Business

- Jeonbuk Jangsu Branch

On August 20 the Jeonbuk Jangsu Branch held ”Fun Study Room” program as its branch specialization project and visited the Forest Museum at Sunchang and Mt. Gangcheon with children from the Multi-cultural Family Hope Center. We worried that it might rain buckets, but luckily it was perfectly sunny.

A mission of learning love within nature: each group at the Forest Museum received some of God's creation, conserving the priceless history of the forest and taking a healthy wooded stroll.

After lunch the group moved to Mt. Gangcheon County Park and unpacked at Byeongpung Falls. They tried walking barefoot for 2 hours up to Gujanggun (Nine Generals) Falls, where there is a legend that nine generals in the Mahan era lost a battle, came all the way here and were about to commit suicide when they changed their minds and fought again, winning victory.

A student named Choi Jeong Yeon (3rd grade, elementary) became a role model as she had a physical handicap in her leg, but still challenged to walk barefoot the four thousand meters, without any hesitation. Lee Tae Hyeon (2nd grade) was overweight and had a hard time, but endured the pain to the end and received an ovation.

After accomplishing the mission and climbing down the mountain, everyone swam under Byeongpung Falls. Children had a pleasant, fruitful field trip by learning the love of God in nature and experiencing self-respect and communication.
