2013년 1월15일, 강원고성 통일전망대에서 중앙위원 및 지부회원들 35명이 참석한 가운데 제21차 남북통일 기원제를 올렸다.

2013년 새해를 여는 첫 행사인 남북통일 기원제는 한반도의 평화통일을 기원하고자 창립 이래 매년 1월에 진행하고 있다.

이날 참석자들은 각자 정성스럽게 상차림을 준비하여 북녘을 향하여 왕계순 부회장의 사회, 평화와 통일을 위해 수고하신 영령을 위한 묵념, 향 올리기, 박미화 회장(중앙위원)의 통일기원사, 홍현미(7기) 회원의 통일 시 낭송, 강영희 부회장(중앙위원)의 만세삼창 순으로 기원제를 올렸다.

The 21st North-South Korea Unification Prayer Ceremony

On January 15, 2013, the 21st South-North Korea Unification Prayer Ceremony was held at the Unification Observatory in Goseong, Gangwon Province, attended by 35 central committee members and branch members.

The South-North Korea Unification Prayer Ceremony, which was the first event to be held in 2013, has been held at the beginning of every year since the founding of the WFWP, in supplication for peace and the reunification of the Korean Peninsula.

On this day, the participants prepared a table with devotion, facing towards the north. The ceremony was emceed by Vice-President Gye Soon Wang, and the participants offered a silent prayer for all the spirits who had worked so hard for peace and unification and lit the incense, which was followed by a prayer for reunification given by Chairperson Mi Hwa Park (Central Committee member), a recitation of the poem of unification by Member Hyeon Mi Hong (Seventh-term graduate), and three cheers of Mansei led by Vice-Chair Yeong Hee Gang (Central Committee member).
