지난 11월 14일, 이스라엘과 가자지구 하마스지역에 8일간의 전쟁으로 인한 많은 부상자들이 생겨 중동 여성연합에 도움 요청을 해 왔다.

이에 세계본부인 한국에서는 ‘지구가족사랑 1%운동’ 기금 5,000달러를 ‘팔레스타인 의료구호 단체’에 전달했다.

지역 NGO 단체인 ‘팔레스타인 의료구호’는 여성연합 정기 후원 프로젝트인 ‘GAZA i DREAM’과 깊은 연관을 맺고 있는 단체이다. 

의료품 구입이 턱없이 부족한 상태에서 여성연합의 지원은 그들에게 소중한 힘이 되었다.

Support for Gaza Strip’s medicine from headquarter

Last November 14th, Israel and Hamas in Gaza had fought for eight days; therefore, many people were injured in the battles. Hence, the WFWP, Middle East asked headquarters for help, and headquarter delivered 5000$ to ‘Palestinian Medical Relief Society’ by fund of ‘1% Love Share Project’.

"GAZA i DREAM" is a regular sponsored project of Council of woman which is deeply involved with ‘Palestinian Medical Relief Society’ which is local NGO organization.

Supporting by headquarter have uplifting to whom the medical supplies were far from sufficient.
