제11차 세계지도자워크숍이 ‘저희를 일으켜 세우소서! (May You Raise Us Up! -To Fulfill Our Destiny)’라는 주제로 10월 11일부터 14일까지 청평 청아캠프에서 35개국 250명이 참석한 가운데 진행 되었다.

워크숍 개회식에서 문난영 회장은 ‘하나님의 조국’, ‘하나님의 고향’인 한국의 역사와 전통의 현장을 통해 많은 이해와 공감대를 형성하여 ‘천일국’ 완성섭리의 주역인 여성 직사도로서 그 사명을 다 해 줄 것을 부탁하며 전 세계에서 온 지도자들의 노고에 감사하다는 말을 개회사로 전했다.

또한 최연아 부회장은 환영사를 통해 ‘기원절’을 준비하는 새로운 결심과 각오로 무장하여 “2013년까지 어머니의 사명을 가슴에 품고 하나님의 뜻을 중심한 나라복귀와 세계복귀의 길을 가야한다”는 한학자 총재님의 당부 말씀을 마음 깊이 새겨주시길 바란다고 전했으며, 바로 이어진 특강에서 문인진 미국 총회장은 새천년 개발 목표를 바라보면서 여성의 역할을 되돌아 보고, 여성 스스로 존엄성과 가치를 가진 어머니로서 자녀로서의 역량강화하여 서로를 일으켜 세울 수 있는 11차 워크숍 기간이 되길 바란다고 전했다.

12일 둘째 날 오전에는 워크숍에 참석한 전원이 원구피스컵 개막식에 함께 참석하였으며, 점심식사 이후 참가자들은 각 대륙의 활동사진과 발표를 들으며 전 세계에서 펼쳐지는 여성들의 평화활동에 고무되었다. 늦은 저녁시간에는 대륙별 토론 시간을 통해 2011년 활동계획을 논의 하는 시간이 주어졌다.

13일에는 한국역사문화탐방의 날로 조선의 으뜸 궁궐인 경복궁과 순국열사들의 넋을 기리고 후손에게 자주독립 정신을 일깨워주는 서대문형무소역사관 탐방, 분단현장인 판문점과 제3땅굴을 견학하였다.

저녁에는 만찬과 함께 엔터테인먼트 프로그램이 진행되었다. 남한에서 새로운 삶을 열어가고 있는 새터민으로 구성된 겨레하나예술단, Two Rivers, 외국인지부가 공연을 함께하며 각국의 참가자들이 함께 춤과 노래로 하나 되는 시간이었다.

14일, 총재님 양위분을 그리워하며 진행된 해외지부 임원들의 천정궁 견학 시간이 있었으며, 폐회식에서는 지난 3박4일 동안의 여정을 사진영상으로 돌아보면서 함께 했던 순간의 시간을 되새겨보았다. 대륙별 소감 및 계획 발표 시간에는 앞으로의 활동 방향성을 보고하면서 아쉬운 마음을 뒤로하고 11차 워크숍일정을 마감하였다.

The 11th Women Leaders Workshop

The 11th Women Leaders Workshop was held from October 11 to 14 at Cheong-A Camp, Cheongpyeong, with the theme, "May You Raise Us Up! - To Fulfill Our Destiny" with 250 from 35 countries.

At the Opening Address, Pres. Lan Young Moon said she expected the leaders of the WFWP to play a major role in establishing Cheon Il Guk, and develop a deep understanding and bond of sympathy through visiting Korea as the 'Fatherland of God' and 'Homeland of God's historical and traditional sites.' She thanked the leaders from all over the world for their efforts.

In Vice President Yeon Ah Choi's Welcoming Remarks, she wished the leaders to be armed with new determination and conviction to prepare for "Foundation Day," the start of Cheon Il Guk. She asked them to keep in mind Mother Moon’s, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon's words: "We should be aware of our mission as mothers and walk the path of restoring the nation and the world centering on God's Will until the year 2013." Reverend In Jin Moon, President and CEO of HSA-UWC USA, gave a special address, expressing the hope that WFWP leaders can see women's roles in view of the MDGs, and encouraged women to maintain dignity and to value themselves as a mother, wife and daughter.

Day 2 (Oct 12), all attendees took part in the Wongu Peace Cup Opening Ceremony in the morning, then after lunch they heard and saw each continents' activity reports and pictures. Everyone was very inspired with the peace movement WFWP is initiating, and with the activities from all over the world. In the evening, through the regional discussions they had time to plan for 2011.

Day 3 (Oct 13), a Day of Exploring Korea: the 38th Parallel, Providential Sites and Culture. Attendees visited Gyeongbok Palace, Joseon (1392-1910) royal palaces, Seodaemun Prison History Hall where visitors can pay high tribute to the patriotic ancestors and renew the determination of the spirit of independence, as well as Panmunjeom and the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel Course at the 38th Parallel site.

In the evening, a banquet and entertainment were held. The One Nation Art Company composed of North Koreans who started a new life in South Korea, Two Rivers, and the IWK Branch performed, and all participants felt as one with dance and music.

Day 4 (Oct 14), overseas leaders had time to tour the Cheon Jeong Palace Museum in the morning. At the Closing Session, they saw the 11th WS Slide Show covering the previous three days, and enjoyed through photos the moments they had spent together. The 11th Workshop ended with a presentation of reflections and plans from each of the regional representatives.
