성북지부(지부장:임태옥)는 1월 24일 성북구에 위치한 베누스타에서 지역주민과 여성지도자들 140명을 초청하여 ‘21C여성지도자포럼’을 개최하였다.

에이도 꾸리에 부지부장(성북)의 사회로 임태옥 지부장(성북)의 환영사, 목소연 의원(성북구)의 축사, 김옥선님의 축가, 문난영 회장의 ‘세계평화와 남북통일은 참사랑으로’라는 주제강연 순으로 진행되었다.

이날 참석한 박정애 여성회장(성북구 한국원자력봉사대)은 늘 봉사에 앞장서 왔기에 비정부 기구로서 세계적인 활동을 하는 여성연합이 자랑스러웠다고 말했다. 또한 이영순 회장(성북구 한국자유총연맹)은 포럼을 통해 문선명 총재의 평화사상을 알 수 있는 계기가 되었으며 순결에 대한 내용이 감명 깊었고 딸에게 전달해주고픈 내용이라고 참석 소감을 전했다,

The Seongbuk Branch of Seoul hosts the ‘21stC Women Leaders Forum’

The Seongbuk Branch (Branch Leader: Tae Ok Yim) hosted the ‘21stC Women Leaders Forum’ at Venusta located in Seongbuk-gu on January 24, to which 140 local residents and women leaders were invited.

The forum was emceed by Deputy Branch Leader Kurie Eido (Seongbuk), and Branch Leader Tae Ok Yim (Seongbuk) gave the welcoming address, which was followed by a congratulatory address by Assemblyperson So Yeon Mok (Seongbuk-gu), a congratulatory song by Mrs. Ok Seon Kim, and the keynote speech by President Lan Young Moon titled ‘Achieving World Peace and the Unification of  North and  South Korea through True Love’.

Mrs. Jeong Ae Park, the woman president of Korea Atomic Energy Volunteer Work Team of Seongbuk-gu,who attended the forum on this day, said that she has been proud of the WFWP for always taking the lead in carrying out volunteer work and activities worldwide as a non-governmental organization. In addition, President Yeong Soon Lee (Seongbuk-gu Branch of the Korea Freedom Federation)expressed her impression as a participant  of the forum by saying that it provided an opportunity for her to learn about the Peace Ideology of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, and that she was deeply inspired by the contents about pure love and that she wanted to pass on what she had heard to her daughter.
