원주포럼

손혜숙 지부장

21세기 여성지도자 포럼이 원주 4월30일 중앙웨딩타운에서 227명이 참석한 가운데 개최됐다. 우종수 평화대사의 사회로 시작한 포럼은 손혜숙 지부장의 환영사, 함종한 국회의원의과 안정신 평화대사협의회장의 축사에 이어 문난영 회장의 강연이 있었다.

원주는 특히 문난영 회장님의 모교인 원주여고 동문회를 중심으로 종교적인 편견보다는 세계적인 여성지도자가 된 자랑스런 동문임을 부각시키며 준비하였다고 손혜숙 지부장은 전했다. 원주지부는 포럼을 통해 연결된 지도자들과 함께 사회활동에 적극 참여하여 인맥을 넓히며 지역에서 인정받도록 더욱 열심히 활동하겠다고 회원들과 다짐해 보았다.

Wonju Forum

The Wonju branch held the 21C Women Leaders Forum on April 30, at Central Wedding Town, with 227 people. Peace Embassador U Jongsu was MC and Branch Manager Son Hyesuk gave welcoming remarks. Following that, Congressperson Ham Jonghan and President of the Peace Ambassadors Conference An Jeongsin provided congratulatory addresses, and Pres. Moon gave a lecture.

Branch Manager Son said we were preparing this through emphasizing Pres. Moon’s achievement that Pres. Moon was once a Wonju Girl’s High School student, but she became a world women's leader.

Wonju members made a promise to do more local activities in order to gain recognition with leaders who attended the forum

충주포럼

충주지부 포럼이 라는 주제로 4월 20일(화) 충주호암예술관에서 충주관내의 100명 이 참석 한가운데 진행되었다.

이견숙 회원의 사회로 시작된 포럼은 우순화 지부장(충주시)의 환영사와 이명주 회장(충주시 UPF세계평화여성포럼), 강호안 소장(충주시 자원봉사센터)의 축사가 있었다. 문난영 회장의 강연중 “여성의 섬세함으로 사회의 문제인 남북통일을 해결해 나아가야 한다”는 의견에 남녀노소를 막론하고 참석한 이들의 동감의 박수를 보냈다.

Chungju Forum

The Chungju Branch held a Forum with the theme of “Making a Peaceful World with Women’s Power” on April 20, at the Chungju Hoam Art Center, with 100 people.

WFWP member Lee Gyeonsuk was MC; Branch Manager U Sunhwa gave welcoming remarks; Chungju City UPF World Peace Women Forum President Lee Myeongju and Chungju City Volunteer Service Center Manager Gang Hoan gave congratulatory addresses. People of all ages and both sexes gave applause as they agreed with Pres. Moon’s opinion that “We should resolve North-South Korea unification which is a social issue with the sensitivity that women often have.”
