5월 24일, 주한외국인지부(IWK/ 지부장: 엘리자베스 콜포드)는 월례행사인 5월 ‘커피모닝’ 행사를 가졌다. 유니버설 발레단 단장 및 예술감독 보좌관인 앤 이노우에 씨를 초청하여 지난 25년간 한국에서 경력과 일상의 경험을 공유하는 시간을 가졌다. 이노우에 씨는 한국문화와 발레의 성공(발레단은 무용수들의 자기희생정신과 팀워크로 인해 세계 10위 안에 속한다)의 관계에 대해 소개하였다. 또한, 문화적 가치의 차이로 인해 오는 직장과 자녀들의 한국학교 적응의 어려움 등에 대해 설명하였다.

IWK, the International Women in Korea, ( Branch Leader: Dr. Elizabeth Colford) invited Mrs. Anne Inoue to speak about her 25 years living and working in Korea as the Assistant to the Directors of the Universal Ballet. Mrs. Inoue introduced us to the connection between Korean culture and the success of the Ballet (the corps de ballet is considered to be one of the top ten worldwide because of the dancers' spirit of self-sacrifice and teamwork), and also explained how these differing cultural values make it somewhat difficult for foreigners to adapt to life here, both in their work and for their children in Korean schools.
