당진지부(지부장:박말레)는 2월 8일 회원 24명과 회원 자녀 16명이 함께 지역 요양원을 방문하여 노래, 춤 공연을 하면서 다문화가정의 문화를 알리고 한국의 어르신들과 교류하는 시간을 가졌다. 문화공연을 하면서 세계평화여성연합에서는 여러 나라 여성들이 활동하고 있다는 것을 알리는 시간이 되었다.

보령지부(지부장:이순일)는 1월 5일 보령지부 강당에서 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’을 위한 바자회를 열어 의류, 밑반찬, 생활용품, 장난감 등을 판매하였다. 이날의 수익금은 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 기금으로 전달할 예정이다.

The South Choongcheong Branch

The Dangjin Branch (Branch Leader: Mal Rye Park) visited local nursing homes on February 8. Twenty-four members and  sixteen of their children gave singing and dancing performances to promote the culture of multicultural families, and they also took the time to get to know the elders of Korea. Through the cultural performances, they let it be known that women from diverse nations are working in the Women’s Federation for World Peace.

The Boryeong Branch (Branch Leader: Soon Il Lee) held a bazaar for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ at the Boryeong Branch lecture hall on January 5, where they sold articles of clothing, side dishes, daily necessities, and toys. The proceeds of the bazaar will be donated to the ‘1% Love Share Project’.
