광주시지부(지부장:박미은)는 지난 12월 31일 뷔페식당 에델바이스에서 광주시지부장 이·취임식, 및 송년회를 가졌다. 광주시지부는 새롭게 구성된 임원들과 더불어 2014년 활기찬 한해의 활동을 기획하고 있다.

동구지부(지부장:박미은)는 12월 13일, 라페스타 카페라 홀에서 열린 ‘제17회 UNESCO지구촌 가족친선의 밤’에서 동구지부 여성연합 다문화가정 회원과 자녀들이 합창공연을 했다.

남구지부(지부장:후지다 수이)는 12월 10일, 필리핀 태풍피해 돕기 활동을 했다. 또한  매주 일요일 아침마다 남구 주변을 2~3명의 회원들이 청소 봉사를 하면서 지역 봉사활동을 실천하고 있다.

광산지부(지부장:지영상)는 12월 21일에는 3년간 봉사활동을 전개해온 노세 요양병원을 찾았다. 노래봉사단을 구성하여 율동과 노래로 요양병원에 계신 어르신들과 함께 즐거운 시간을 함께 했다. 특히 이날은 2013년 송년회 겸 크리스마스 선물로 어르신들께 양말100결례를 선물로 드리기도 했다. 12월 29일에는 광산지부 강당에서 다코야끼, 커피젤리, 홍차무스, 쿠키, 컵케익 등을 판매하며 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 바자회를 열었다.

The Gwangju Branch (Branch Leader: Mi Eun Park) held the Leaving and Inauguration Ceremony of the Gwangju Branch Leader and the end-of-year party on December 31 at Edelweiss, a buffet restaurant. The Gwangju Branch, together with the newly-organized staff members, is planning to actively carry out activities in the year 2014.

The Donggu Branch (Branch Leader: Mi Eun Park) participated in the ‘17th UNESCO Global Village Family Goodwill Night’ held at the La Festa Cafera Hall on December 13, where the WFWP members of the Donggu Branch from multicultural families and their children gave a  performance as a choir.

The Namgu Branch (Branch Leader: Sui Fujita) carried out activities to help the typhoon victims in the Philippines on December 10. In addition, two to three members clean the area surrounding the Namgu Branch building every Sunday morning, thus taking part in local service activities.

The Gwangsan Branch (Branch Leader: Yeong Sang Ji) visited the Nursing Home for the Elderly, where they have continued to carry out volunteer work for three years, on December 21. They formed a singing performance team and had a wonderful time together with the senior citizens in the nursing home, entertaining them with songs and dances. In particular, the event held on this day was also the year-end party, and the members presented the elderly with a hundred pairs of socks as Christmas presents. On December 29 they held a bazaar for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ at the Gwangsan Branch lecture hall, where they sold Takoyaki, coffee jelly, red tea mousse, cookies, cupcakes and the like.
