일산지부(지부장:김나연)는 지난 2013년 12월 27일 지역 노인정을 방문하여 여성연합 활동과 취지를 설명하고 어르신 건강을 위한 해피헬스 봉사를 했다.

화도지부 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’

2013년 12월 29일 화도지부(지부장:권선화)에서는 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 모금 활동을 실시하였으며 모금 운동에 기부해주신 분들께는 회원이 직접 만든 수세미를 선물로 드렸다.

의정부지부 ‘제9회 불우이웃 돕기를 위한 일일찻집과 다문화 선학오케스트라 3주년 기념 연주회

의정부지부(지부장:임현순)는 2013년 12월 21일에는 의정부시 평화문화회관에서 ‘제9회 불우이웃 돕기를 위한 일일찻집과 의정부시 다문화 선학오케스트라 3주년 기념 연주회’를 개최하였다. 이날 기념식에는 안병용 의정부시장 부부, 노영일 전 의정부의장(평화대사협의회), 강은회 의원, 임원선 센터장(다문화가족지원센터), 김인숙 여성가족과장, 안금례 회장(여성단체협의회), 김미남 명성사랑의 봉사단, 최정연 여성단체자 문의원, 김춘이 여성단체 자문의원, 최삼철 평화대사, 김영실 평화대사, 여성연합회원 등 70여명의 지역 지도자들 참석했다.

동두천지부(지부장:마쯔다 가쯔꼬)는 2013년 12월 21일 서울 강남역 지하상가 에서 필리핀 돕기 모금활동을 했다.

덕양지부 ‘사교육비를 절약하는 공부법’ 특강

지난 2013년 12월 8일 덕양지부(지부장:윤순림)에서는 다문화지원정책센타 황인춘 국장을 초청하여 ‘사교육비를 절약하는 공부법’에 대한 특강을 가졌다. 황인춘 국장은 직접 실천한 경험과 사례를 중심으로 참석한 학부모와 학생들에게 많은 호응을 받았다. 가정에서 자기주도 학습을 통해서 실력을 증진해 가는 것이 중요하다고 강조하였다. 이 교육을 통해서 여성연합의 2세 자녀들을 세계적인 지도자로 성장시키고자 한다.

The Ilsan Branch (Branch Leader: Na Yeon Kim) visited a local senior center on December 27, 2013 to explain the aims and activities of the WFWP and to perform a Happy Health service to care for the health of the elderly.

The Hwado Branch Participates in a ‘1% Love Share Project’

On December 29, 2013, the Hwado Branch (Branch Leader: Seon Hwa Gwon) held a fundraising event for the ‘1% Love Share Project’, and all those who had given donations during the event were presented with loofahs personally made by the members.

The Uijeongbu Branch (Branch Leader: Hyeon Soon Yim) hosted the ‘9th One-day Café to Help Those in Need and a Concert to Commemorate the 3rd Anniversary of the Multicultural Seonhak Orchestra’ on December 21, 2013 at the Peace Culture Hall of Uijeongbu. The commemorative ceremony held on this day was attended by more than seventy local leaders, including Mayor Byeong Yong Ahn of Uijeongbu and his wife, former Speaker Yeong Il Noh of the Uijeongbu Municipal Assembly (Ambassadors for Peace Association), Municipal Assemblyperson Eun Hwe Gang, Center Director Won Seon Yim (Multicultural Families Support Center), Director In Sook Kim of the Women and Families Department, President Geum Rye Ahn (Uijeongbu Council of Women), Mi Nam Kim of the Myeongseong Love-sharing Service Team, Advisor Jeong Yeon Choi of the Council of Women, Advisor Choon Yi Kim of the Council of Women, Ambassador for Peace Sam Cheol Choi, Ambassador for Peace Yeong Shil Kim, and members of the WFWP.
