무안지부

무안지부(지부장:오가루미꼬)는 12월 22일 회원의 자녀들은 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 필리핀 피해주민을 위해서 모금활동을 가졌다. 무안지부 회원들과 자녀 학생들이 모여서 1시간의 모금활동을 실시하였으며 짧은 시간 적은 액수를 모금 하였지만 학생들이 남을 도울 수 있다는 기쁨과 자신감을 갖는 좋은 기회가 되었다.

보성지부

보성지부(지부장:김양순. 사또기미꼬)는 지난 12월 7일 전남보성체육관에서 이웃사랑 돕기 ‘사랑의 김장김치나누기’ 지역봉사활동에 참석하였다. 매년마다 시군으로 돌아가면서 이웃사랑 돕기 ‘사랑의 김장김치나누기’ 행사를 진행하고 있는데 올해는 보성군에서 열렸다. 이날은 전라도 시장 및 군수, 보성군 여성단체에서 300명이 참석하였으며 배추 7000 포기의 김장김치를 만들었다. 또한 12월 16일에 열린 보성군 바르게살기운동 시상식에서 여성연합 보성군 다문화가정 회원이 박용규, 우치야마 유까꼬 가정이 모범가정상을 수상했으며, 카리베 히사꼬 회원과 뉴페미아 회원이 친절군민상 등을 수상했다.

South Jeolla Province Branches

The Muan Branch of South Jeolla Province

On December 22, children of the members of the Muan Branch (Branch Leader: Rumiko Oka) held a ‘1% Love Share Project’ fundraising event to help the Filipino victims of the recent typhoon. The members of the Muan Branch and their children, who are students, raised funds for an hour, and though it was a short time and they did not raise too much, it was a good opportunity for the students to learn the joy of helping others and to gain confidence in themselves.

The Boseong Branch

On December 7, the Boseong Branch (Branch Leader: Yang soon Kim and Kimiko Sato) participated in a local service project, ‘Sharing the Kimchi of Love’, to help neighbors in the Boseong Gymnasium. Every year they change the place of the event from city or county (gun) to another city or county, and this year we held a ‘Sharing the Kimchi of Love’ in Boseong-gun. City mayors and county governors of South Jeolla province and 300 people from women’s organizations in Boseong-gun attended and made 7,000 heads of kimchi together. On December 16, the Yong Gu Park and Yukako Uchiyama family, a Boseong-gun multicultural family, were awarded a prize as a ‘Model Family’, and Hisako Karibe and Eunfenia O Pahilagao were awarded a prize for being ‘Kind County Residents’ at the Boseong-gun ‘Society for a Better Tomorrow’ Awards Ceremony.
