전주지부(지부장:남궁순례)는 12월 17일 전북대학교 진수당에서 개최된 전라북도 여성 NGO 활동성과 보고 및 토론회 참석하였다. 또한 12월 18일에는 금암복지회관에서 15명의 회원들이 쑥뜸봉사활동을 했다.

완주지부(지부장:김옥이)는 12월 6일, 봉동경로당에서 5명의 회원들이 함께 깍두기 담그기 봉사를 했다. 또한 12월 7일에는 신평마을에서 어르신을 위한 쑥뜸봉사활동을 했다.

남원지부(지부장:한초구)는 12월 3일~4일 남원시청, 세무서, 법원, 검찰청 등에서 28명의 회원들이 필리핀 태풍피해 돕기 모금활동을 전개하였으며, 12월 10일과 24일에는 이백면 이백산림 노인복지센터에서 쑥뜸봉사를 했다. 

김제지부필리핀 태풍피해 돕기 모금활동

김제지부(지부장:이은경)는 12월 1일~3일, 김제지역인 김제역, 김제시장에서 18명의 회원들이 필리핀 태풍피해 돕기 모금활동을 가졌다. 또한 12월 28일에는 김제지부에서 다문화가정 ‘사랑의 쌀’을 전달하기도 했다.

North Jeolla Province Branches

The Jeonju Branch

The Jeonju Branch(Branch Leader: Soon Rye Namgung) attended the ‘Activities and Achievements Report of Women’s NGOs in North Jeolla Province and Discussion Meeting’, held at Jinsoodang in Chonbuk University on December 17. And on December 18, fifteen members performed a moxa treatment service at the Geumahm Welfare Center.

The Wanju Branch

Five members of the Wanju Branch (Branch Leader: Ok Yi Kim) came together on December 6 at the Bongdong Senior Center to make cubed radish kimchi for the residents. And on December 7 they performed a moxa treatment service for the aged residents of Shinpyeong Village.

The Namwon Branch

Twenty-eight members of the Namwon Branch (Branch Leader: Cho Gu Han) held a fundraising event to help the Philippines, ravaged by the recent typhoon, at the Namwon City Hall, tax office, court of justice, and the  public prosecution  administration among others, on December 3 and 4. On December 10 and 24, they performed a moxa treatment service at the Yibaek Forest Elders’ Welfare Center in Yibaek-myeon.

The Gimje Branch Carries Out a Fundraising Event to Help the Typhoon Victims in the Philippines

Eighteen members of the Gimje Branch (Branch Leader: Eun Gyeong Lee) carried out a fundraising event to help the typhoon victims in the Philippines from December 1 to 3 at Gimje Station and in the Gimje Market in the district of Gimje. In addition, on December 28 the Gimje Branch presented multicultural families with ‘Rice of Love’.
