경남도지부(지부장:구보 나미에)는 2013년 10월 14일~15일, 경남발전연구원 초청으로 2013 대장경세계문화축전 국제학술심포지엄에 도지장 외 13명이 참석하였다.

창원컨벤션센터에서 ‘대장경 가치의 공유와 번영’이라는 주제로 심포지엄이 진행 되었으며 다른 세계의 문화와 한국의 대장경 역사문화를 세계적인 관광 상품으로의 개발과 대중화에 대하여 알아보는 시간이 되었다.

South Gyeongsang Province Branch attends the 2013 Tripitaka Koreana World Culture Festival International Symposium

The branch leader and thirteen members of South Gyeongsang Province Branch (Branch Leader: Namie Kubo) attended the 2013 Tripitaka Koreana World Culture Festival International Symposium, held from October 14 to 15, upon the invitation of Gyeongnam Development Institute.

The Symposium was held under the title, ‘Sharing and Promoting the Value of Tripitaka Koreana’ at Changwon Convention Center, and it was a time for learning about the cultures of other parts of the world and developing and popularizing the historical culture of Tripitaka Koreana as a global tourist attraction.
