영천지부(지부장:다카타 사토미)는 지난 11월 8일 태풍피해로 12,000명 이상 사망하는 천재지변이 일어난 필리핀주민들을 위해 영천시지부 회원들과 함께 영천시내 상가를 다니면서 여성연합 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’을 소개하면서 필리핀 돕기 모금 활동을 했다. 정성껏 모금운동에 동참해주시는 분들 덕분에 회원들도 보람을 느끼는 시간이 되었다.

The Yeongcheon Branch of North Gyeongsang Province

Members of the Yeongcheon Branch (Branch Leader: Takata Satomi) held a fundraising event to help the residents of the Philippines who suffered from the calamity that struck the nation, the typhoon that caused the deaths of more than 12,000 people on November 8, by visiting the stores in downtown Yeongcheong and introducing the ‘1% Love Share Project’ of the WFWP and asking others to participate as well. Thanks to the many people who took part in the fundraising event wholeheartedly, the members felt greatly rewarded.
