인천 계양구지부(지부장:이승남)는 8월 13일 계양구청복지과의 소개로 아이 돌봄 봉사를 진행하고 있다. 소아마비로 아이를 돌보는 것이 어려운 62세 할머니를 돕는 7개월 된 남아 목욕봉사를 하였다. 목욕봉사는 현재 2명의 회원이 참석하여 1주일에 2회 봉사를 하고 있다. 또한 매월 1회씩, 10년 동안 진행하고 있는 효성동 노인정 점심식사 봉사가 8월16일에 4명의 회원이 참석한 가운데 진행하였다.

The Incheon Branch performed a Baby-caring Service

The Incheon Branch has been carrying out a baby-caring service from August 13 for a baby brought to their attention by the Gyeyang-gu Office Welfare Department. They perform the service of bathing a seven-month old boy being raised by his 62-year old grandmother, who has difficulty taking care of him because she suffered from polio. At present, two members are taking part in the bathing service, which they do twice a week.

On August 16, four members took part in offering a free lunch service at the Hyoseong-dong Home for the Elderly, which they have continued to do once a month for ten years.
