동해지부(지부장:핫도리미즈에)는 9월 14일 동해시 축제추진위원회 주최로 묵호항에서 열린 동해시 ‘오징어 축제’에 참석하여 동해시민 및 관광객에게 지역상품 오징어요리를 만들고 무료로 제공하는 활동 함께 했다. 또한 여성단체협의회에 동참하여 ‘동해시 오징어축제’를 위한 TV촬영 등 지역 활동에 적극 참여하고 있다.

춘천지부(지부장:시노하라 치호)는 2013 지부특성화 사업인 ‘가정돌보기’ 프로그램이 8월 28일, 9월 11일 춘천지부 강당에서 진행되었다.

홍천군지부(지부장:장상란)는 10월 14일, 홍천군 희망5리에서 일본문화 체험장에서 자원봉사를 하였다. 매주 토요일 마다 열고 있는 일본어교실에서 일본음식 오코노미야기와 오뎅을 만들어 학생들에게 시식코너를 준비해주었으며 일본 전통춤 의상 핫삐를 입어보며 문화체험의 시간을 가졌다.

Activities of the Gangwon Branch

The Donghae Branch (Branch Leader: Mizue Hattori) participated in the ‘Donghae City Squid Festival’, hosted by the Donghae City Festival Promotion Committee at Mookho Harbor on September 14, and took part in making dishes from squid, which is a local delicacy, and providing them for free to the citizens of Donghae as well as to tourists. In addition, they are also actively taking part in local activities in conjunction with the National Council of Women, including participating in the TV shooting for the ‘Donghae City Squid Festival’.

The Chooncheon Branch (Branch Leader: Chiyo Shinohara) held a ‘Nurturing the Family’ workshop, which is their 2013 specialized branch project, in the Chooncheon Branch lecture hall on August 28 and September 11.

The Hongcheon-gun Branch (Branch Leader: Sang Ran Jang) did volunteer work at the ‘Japanese Culture Experience Area’ at Heuimang 5-ri of Hongcheon-gun on October 14. In the Japanese class held every Saturday, they made Japanese food, Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) and Oden (processed fish cake soup), and set up a booth to give the students a chance to taste them, and they also had the students try on Happi, which is a coat worn by Japanese traditional dancers, as a part of the cultural experience.
