경기북부지부(공동지부장:문혜림, 이명숙)는 매달 각 지부를 순회하면서 회의를 하고 있다. 이번회의는 8월 13일 동두천지부에서 경기북부 지부 임원들이 40명 참석한 가운데 개최 했다.

동두천지부(지부장:마쯔다가쯔꼬)는 8월 2일~4일, 강원도 세계 잼버리 성화학생 캠프에서 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’, ‘다문화 청소년돕기’ 기금마련 행사로 떢복이와 슬러시 판매를 했다. 또한 7월 20일에는 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 과 ‘다문화 청소년돕기’ 위한 모금활동을 동대문시장에서 가졌다.

의정부지부(지부장:임현순)는 6월 22일, 의정부시 청소년수련관에서 ‘다문화가정 돕기 위한 자선음악회’라는 주제로 다문화 선학오케스트라 공연를 하였다. 이날 현장에서 모금된 현금은 의정부시 다문화가족지원센터를 통하여 지원자를 선정하고 베트남, 방글라데시, 러시아 등 7개국의 31명에게 전달하였다.

구리지부(지부장:아미오미찌에, 한은희)는 2013 지부특성화사업으로 열린 ‘행복한 음악 봉사단’ 프로그램이 시작되었다. 8월 19일부터 매주 월요일마다 세미나실에서  회원과 회원자녀들이 함께  비올라와 바이올린교실을 시작했다.

Activities of the North Gyeonggi Branch

The North Gyeonggi Branch (Co-Branch Leaders: Hye Rim Moon, Myeong Sook Lee) visit each of the branches every month to hold meetings. The meeting for this month was held at the Dongducheon Branch on August 13, and was attended by 40 members of the North Gyeonggi Branch.

The Dongducheon Branch (Branch Leader: Kazuko Mazda) participated in the World Jamboree Seonghwa Students Camp held in Gangwon Province from August 2 to 4, where they sold ddukboki (rice cakes cooked in a spicy sauce) and slush drinks as a fundraising event for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ and ‘Giving Aid to The Children of Multicultural Families’. In addition, the Branch also held a fundraising event for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ and ‘Giving Aid to the Children of Multicultural Families’ at the Dongdaemun Market on July 20.

The Seonhak Orchestra of the Uijeongbu Branch (Branch Leader: Hyeon Soon Yim), made up of multicultural members, gave a performance on June 22 at the Uijeongbu City Youth Training Center under the theme, ‘Charity Concert to Aid Multicultural Families’. The donations collected at the concert were given out to 31 selected candidates from seven nations, including Vietnam, Bangladesh and Russia, through the Uijeongbu City Multicultural Families Support Center.

The Guri Branch (Co-Branch Leaders: Mitsie Amio, Eun Hee Han) have begun the ‘Happy Music Service Team’ program as their 2013 specialized branch project. Starting from August 19, they are holding viola and violin classes for members and their children in their seminar room every Monday.
