설악면지부(지부장:유정화)는 2013년 7월 24일부터 문선명 총재 성화 1주기 추모를 위한 ‘참가정 원리와 남북통일운동 세미나’를 설악면 29개리와 가평군 한국교통 장애인 협회와 분원을 추가하여 31곳에 실시하기로 결의하고, 그 첫출발을 신천1리에서 시작하여 25일 선촌2리, 26일 회곡리, 27일 선촌1리, 29일 천안1리, 30일 이천리, 31일 신천4리, 8월 1일 묵안리 8곳을 실시하였다. 설악면 지부는 일본, 미국, 영국, 체코, 밸로루시아, 수단, 필리핀 등 다국적 회원들의 노래와 연주 춤 등 다양한 재능을 지역 주민들에게 선보이기도 했다.

구리지부(공동지부장:한은희, 아미오 미찌에)는 7월 4일 구리시청에서 열린 구리시 여성주간행사에서 활발한 지역봉사로 정용자 부지부장(구리)이 국회의원상 수상을 했다.

포천지부(지부장:오오모또 아끼꼬)는 7월 10일에 "제18회 포천시여성주간 기념행사"가 여성단체협의회 주관으로 포천시장 및 여성단체회원 300명이 참석한 가운데 개최되었다. 특히 유공자 시상식에서는 김숙영(부회장)이 시장 표창을 수상 했다. 7월 20일에는 포천시 주관 ‘나눔의 장터’에서 회원들이 수집한 물품으로 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 모금 활동을 하였다.

Northern Gyeonggi Province

The Seorak Branch (Branch Leader: Jeong Hwa Yu) decided to hold the ‘True Family Principle and the Unification of North and South Korea Movement Seminar’ from July 24 2013, in commemoration of the first anniversary of the Seong Hwa of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, in a total of 31 places, including 29 partss of Seorak-myeon and the Korea Traffic Disabled Association and Branch. They have held the seminar in eight places, starting out with Shincheon 1-ri, and on the 25th they held the seminar in Seonchon 2-ri, in Hwegok-ri on the 26th, Seonchon 1-ri on the 27th, Cheonan 1-ri on the 29th, Icheon-ri on the 30th, Shincheon 4-ri on the 31st, and Mukan-ri on the 1st of August. The Seorak-myeon Branch has also displayed the various talents of their members from many different nations including Japan, the USA, the UK, Czech Republic, Belorussia, Sudan and the Philippines, giving performances of their singing, playing of musical instruments, and dancing.

The Guri Branch (Co-Branch Leaders: Eun Hee Sook Han, Mitsie Amio) took part in the Guri Women’s Week Event held in Guri City Hall on July 4, where Deputy Branch Leader Yong Ja Jeong (Guri) was awarded the National Assemblyman’s Award for actively carrying out local volunteer work.

The Pocheon Branch (Branch Leader: Akiko Oomoto) participated in the “18th Pocheon City Women’s Week Commemorative Event” held on July 10, sponsored by the Korea National Council of Women and attended by the Mayor of Pocheon and 300 members from women’s organizations. In particular, at the awards ceremony for persons of merit, Mrs. Sook Yeong Kim (Vice-President) was presented with the Mayor’s Award. On July 20, they held a fundraising event for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ at the ‘Marketplace for Sharing’ sponsored by Pocheon City, where the members sold the articles they had collected.
