서울 은평지부(공동지부장:유정화/김해숙)는 2013년 3월3일 은평지부 세계평화여성연합 ‘장학금 수여식’을 가졌다.

1년간 은평지부 회원들이 기증한 물품으로 은평구 주민들과 회원을 대상으로 실시한 바자회를 통해 마련된 수익금은 ‘지구가족사랑 1%운동’ 본부 후원금과 장학금으로 마련되었다. 이에 은평지부는 2013년 올해 2회째 장학금 수여식을 통해 대학생 3명에게 각 50만원씩 전달하는 장학금 수여식을 가졌다.

Scholarships awarded by Eunpyeong Branch, Seoul

On March 3 2013, the Eunpyeong Branch (Branch Leader: Jeong Hwa Yu) of Seoul held the ‘Conferral of Scholarships Ceremony’ of the Eunpyeong Branch of the Women’s Federation for World Peace.

During the past year, the members of the Eunpyeong Branch held bazaars for the Eunpyeong-gu residents and members, through which they sold goods donated by the members. The proceeds thus prepared were partly given to the support fund of the Headquarters for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ and partly set aside as scholarships. Through this year’s second Conferral of Scholarships Ceremony, the Eunpyeong Branch awarded three university students with scholarships of 500,000 won each.
