강원지부는(지부장:박선희)는 각 지역별로 다양한 봉사활동을 전개하고 있다.

춘천지부(지부장:최진목) 회원들은 매주 목요일 ‘월드비전’에서  어르신을 대상으로 종이접기 봉사와 아파트 단지 노인회관 청소봉사를 지속적으로 하고 있다.

화천지부(지부장:김윤수)는 2월2일 원강 보훈의 집에서 이미용 봉사를 했다. 이러한 꾸준히 활동소식이 2월12일 강원도민일보에 보도되기도 했다. 또한 화천지부는 2월13,18일 지역 어르신들을 모시고 식사를 대접하는 식당(화천군에서 운영)에서 설거지 봉사를 했으며, 2월26일 ‘해안의 집’에서 목욕봉사를 했다.

 
철원지부(지부장:이희숙)는 푸드뱅크 활동을 통해 기업체 기부 식품, 음료, 생활용품 등 인수하여 전달하는 활동을 전개하고 있다.

Regional Activities of the Gangwon Branch

The Gangwon Branch (Branch Leader: Seon Hee Park) is carrying out various local volunteer service works.

Members of the Chooncheon Branch (Branch Leader: Jin Mok Choi) visit the ‘World Vision’ every Thursday to carry out origami service for the aged. In addition, they also visit the Hall for the Elderly in apartment complexes regularly to carry out cleaning services.

The Hwacheon Branch (Branch Leader: Yoon Soo Kim) carried out their haircutting service at the Won Gang Veterans’ Home on February 2. Their continuous volunteer work was covered in an article carried in the Gangwon Province Daily Newspaper on February 12. Moreover, the Hwacheon Branch also performed a dishwashing service on February 13 and 18 at the restaurant (ran by Hwacheon-gun) where the elderly of the region are served meals. On February 26, the Branch also carried out a bathing service at the ‘Ocean Home’.

The Cheolwon Branch (Branch Leader: Hee Sook Lee) also regularly receives and transports foodstuffs, beverages and daily necessities donated by business organizations for the Food Bank program.
