12월 24일 경북 청송지부(지부장:요시다 미찌요)는 청송 장날 ‘지구가족사랑 1%운동’ 모금 활동을 하였다.

지역 주민들은 ‘지구가족사랑 1%운동’의 현수막을 보고 조금은 낯설어하기도 했지만 여성연합 회원들이 준비한 따뜻한 커피 또는 차를 마시며 여성연합 활동에 관심을 보였다. 큰 성과를 거두지 못해서 아쉬운 점도 있었지만 우리들의 작은 활동이 어려운 이웃에게 더 큰 사랑으로 다가갈 수 있다는 의견을 나누며 회원들 모두 기쁜 마음으로 활동했던 하루였다.

The Cheongsong Branch of Northern Gyeongsang Province: ‘1% Love Share Project’

On December 24, the Cheongsong Branch (Branch Leader: Michiyo Yoshida) of Northern Gyeongsang Province carried out a fundraising campaign for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ on market day in Cheongsong.

At first, the local residents were unfamiliar with the banner of the ‘1% Love Share Project’, but they soon became interested in the activities of the WFWP, as they drank warm coffee or tea prepared by the WFWP members. Though the members were disappointed at not having achieved a greater success, they all worked hard with a joyous heart, sharing the opinion that even the smallest of their activities could help them share an even greater love with their neighbors who are experiencing difficulties.
