경기북부지부(지부장:조정민)는 지역 활동을 통한 표창장 수상 실적을 거두며, 또한 지역별 청소년 통일교육 등 활발한 활동을 전개하고 있다.

ㆍ포천지부(지부장:최은희)는 7월 5일, 여성단체회원와 다문화가족 시민 등 400명이 참석한 가운데 열린에서 국회의원 표창장을 여성연합 단다 미키 회원(경기북 포천지부)이 수상을 하였고, 경기도 의회의장 표창장을 이또 마사꼬 지부장이 수상했다.

ㆍ청평지부(지부장:아다찌 노리꼬)는 매달 5명의 회원들이 2008년부터 꾸준히 효도원에서 지역 어르신들을 위한 식사봉사와 청소를 돕고 있다.

ㆍ가평지부(지부장:구옥임) 는 지난 8월 25일, 가평군 군부대에서 을 진행했다.
지역 다문화 초등생 4~6학년 80명을 대상으로 열린 군부대 현장 교육은 ‘6.25에 대하여 알아보기’ 또한 ‘군대가 필요한 이유’ 등 안보교육이 있었다.

또한 현장견학으로 군부대 생활관 견학과 훈련장비 체험 교육으로 진행 되었다.
구옥임 지부장(경기북 가평지부)은 “참석한 다문화 가정 학생들이 이러한 현장견학과 교육을 통해 아직은 이중국적으로 한국에서 살아가고 있지만 20세가 되어 하나의 국적을 선택하게 될때 한국의 국민으로서 살아야겠다 라는 국가관을 심어주는 계기가 되기를 바란다”며 지속적인 현장교육을 준비하고 싶다고 전했다.   

Northern Gyeonggi Branch

ㆍThe Pocheon Branch (Branch Leader: Eun Hee Choi) took part in the held on July 5 and attended by 400 people, including members of women’s organizations, multicultural families and local residents. At the event, Mrs. Miki Danda, a member of the WFWP (Pocheon Branch of Northern Gyeonggi), was awarded the National Assemblymen’s Certificate of Recommendation and Branch Leader Masako Ito the Gyeonggi Province Councilmen’s Certificate of Recommendation.

ㆍIn the Cheongpyeong Branch (Branch Leader: Noriko Adachi), 5 members carry out a meal service and cleaning service for the elderly at the local nursing home every month, a service they have continued to perform without fail since 2008.

ㆍThe Gapyeong Branch (Branch Leader: Ok Im Gu) hosted an at the Gapyeong-gun Army Base last August 25.
The Army base field trip, attended by eighty 4th to 6th graders from local multicultural families, included classes on national security, such as ‘Learning about the Korean Civil War’ and ‘Reasons Why the Army Is Necessary’.
In addition, as part of the field trip, the students also visited the barracks dormitory and had a chance to experience the training equipment.

Branch Leader Ok Im Gu (Gapyeong Branch of Northern Gyeonggi) stated that she wanted to make preparations to host the field trip regularly, saying, “I hope these field trips and educational programs will implant a national view of Korea so that the participants from multicultural families, who have dual nationality at present but will have to choose only one when they turn 20 years of age, will find it in their hearts to choose to become Korean citizens.”.
