전북 익산지부(지부장:강명숙)는 매월 10여명의 회원들이 모여 백세 요양원에서 거동이 불편하신 어르신을 위해 발마사지 봉사를 실시하고 있다.

가정의 달인 5월5일에는 어버이날을 기념하여 요양원에서 효도잔치가 진행되었으며, 이날 익산지부 회원들은 ‘참사랑 봉사단’과 함께 일본 전통 무용을 선보였고 큰 박수를 받았다.

또한 식당에서 어르신들을 위한 식사 봉사도 함께 실시했다.

The Iksan Branch of North Jeolla Province holds a Filial Piety Party on Parents’ Day

Every month, ten or so members of the Iksan Branch (Branch Leader: Myeong Sook Gang) of North Jeolla Province come together to carry out a foot-massage service for the disabled elderly in the Baek-Se Nursing Home.

May being the month of the family, on May 5 the Branch held a Filial Piety Party at the Nursing Home in commemoration of Parents’ Day, and members of the Iksan Branch performed a Japanese traditional dance together with the ‘True Love Service Corps’, which was warmly received with loud applause.
