광주 전남지부
 

광주 전남지부(지부장:손숙희)는 지역 문화축제와 더불어 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있다.

보성지부(공동 지부장:김양순, 사또 기미꼬)는 지난 5월16~20일 한국 차소리 문화공원에서 개최된 ‘보성 다향제 녹차대축제’에서 보성지부 회원42명은 일본, 필리핀 등 다문화음식 판매, 관광안내 봉사와 활동을 전개했다.

또한 영암지부(지부장:이게다 미찌요)는 지난 4월8일, 왕인유적지 ‘왕인문화축제’에서 회원 9명과 함께 전개했다.
 

또한 순천지부(지부장:오까 루미꼬)는 5월14일, 순천 심정문화센터에서 개최하였으며 의류, 생활용품, 수제 쿠카와 빵 등을 판매하는 바자회를 개최 하였으며, 진도지부(공동 지부장:용구혜자, 아즈마 소노꼬)는 5월5~6일, 진도군 회동 ‘신비의 바닷길’ 행사에서 모금활동을 하였다.

화순지부(지부장:카사이 교꼬)는 5월27~28일, 화순지부 회원 35명은 지역 ‘운주사 축제’ 참여하여 일본문화 체험(끼모노 입어보기, 책갈피 만들기, 일본 전통요리 체험 등)과 쑥뜸봉사, 지역 청소봉사를 실시했다.
 

또한 가자지역 난민 어린이를 돕는 활동에 동참하여 매월 2천원씩 모금한 기금으로 지구촌 난민을 후원하고 있다.

광주남구(지부장:후지따 수이)는 5월26~27일, 중장로상가에서 모금활동을 실시했으며, 강진지부(지부장:박서현)는 강진심정문화센터에서 바자회를 실시하였다.

장흥지부(지부장:김건숙)는 지난 4월에도 용산면 모산 마을회관, 장흥읍 축내리 마을회관, 장흥읍 부산면 월만 마을회관에서 매주 쑥뜸봉사를 진행하며 지역봉사를 하고 있다.

목포지부(지부장:이노우에 유가리)는 5월26일, ‘제4회 새시대 새여성 세미나’를 목포지부 강당에서 열었다.

황인춘 강사를 초빙하여 진행된 교육은 ‘사교육비 절약하는 공부법’이라는 제목으로 40명의 지역 여성들이 모인 가운데 실시됐다. 5월 12일에는 ‘다문화가정을 돕기 위한 바자회’를, 5월 20일에는 목포시가 주최한 ‘외국인의 날 축제’참여와 이주여성을 위한 한국어교실, 다문화가정 자녀 난타교실 등 다양한 지역 활동을 펼치고 있다.

The Gwangju Branch (Branch Leader: Sook Hee Son) of South Jeolla Province is carrying out various activities in conjunction with local culture festivals.

The Sooncheon Branch (Branch Leader: Rumiko Oka) also hosted a Bazaar at the Sooncheon Shimjung Culture Center on May 14, where they sold articles of clothing, household items, and homemade cookies and bread.

Furthermore, the Jindo Branch (Branch Leaders: Yong-Gu Hye Ja, Azma Sonoko) collected donations for the at the ‘Mysterious Sea Road’ Festival held in Hwe-dong, Jindo-gun, on May 5 and 6.

On May 27 and 28, 35 members of the Hwasoon Branch (Branch Leader: Kyoko Kasai) participated in the local event, ‘Woonjusa Festival’, where they provided a Japanese cultural experience (wearing kimonos, making bookmarks, cooking Japanese traditional dishes, etc.) and carried out a moxa treatment service and a local cleaning service. They are also taking part in the campaign to help the refugee children in the Gaza region, by supporting the refugees in the global village with funds collected through monthly payments of 2,000 won.

The Gwangju Nam-gu Branch (Branch Leader: Sui Fujita) collected donations for the on May 26 and 27 at the Joongjangro Business Center, and the Gangjin Branch (Branch Leader: Seo Hyeon Park) hosted a Bazaar at the Gangjin Shimjung Culture Center.

The Jangheung Branch (Branch Leader: Geon Sook Kim) is also carrying out volunteer work projects in the local districts from last April by performing moxa treatment services every week at the Mosan Community Center in Yongsan-myeon, the Chooknae-ri Community Center in Jangheung-eup, and the Wolman Community Center in Busan-myeon of Jangheung-eup.

The Mokpo Branch (Branch Leader: Yukari Inoue) hosted the ‘Fourth New Age New Women Seminar’ on May 26 at the Mokpo Branch Lecture Hall.

The seminar, with Mr. In Choon Hwang as the invited lecturer, was held under the title of ‘Study Methods to Reduce the Cost of Private Education’, and was attended by 40 local women. On May 12 the Branch held a ‘Bazaar to Help Multicultural Families’, and on May 20 it also participated in the ‘Foreigners’ Day Festival’ hosted by Mokpo City. It is also carrying out various local activities, including Korean language classes for immigrant women and Nan-Ta classes for the children of multicultural families.
