서울 관악지부(지부장:김금순)는 3월 18일, 통일문화회관에서 관악지역 시민 80여명이 참석한 가운데 23기를 개최하였다.

이날 유종필 구청장(관악구)은 ‘세계의 도서관 기행’이라는 주제로 전 세계와 한국의 도서관 운영 등을 비교 분석하면 여성과 어머니들에게 다양한 정보를 전했다.

23기를 맞이하는 관악 아카데미는 관악구로 부터 일부 지원을 받아 운영되고 있으며 교양, 건강, 상식 등 관악지역 여성들에게 다양한 정보와 교육을 전달하는 교육 아카데미로 자리매김해 가고 있다.

또한 매달 실시하고 있는 바자회가 지난 3월 11일 통일문화회관에서 20만원의 수익을 거둔 가운데 열렸으며, 매주 금요일에는 요리교실을 실시하고 있다.

Seoul Gwanak Branch held the 23rd Gwanak Academy Head of Gu Yoo Jong-pil Special Invitation Lecture with 80 citizens of Gwanak Ward at the Tongil Culture Hall on March 18.

On that day, Gu Chief Yoo Jong-pil offered to invite women including mothers, to a comparative analysis among libraries of the world and those in Korea with theme of "The World Library Tour".
The Gwanak Academy, supported in part by Gwanak-gu, has for 23 years been delivering information and education about refinement, health, and common sense to women in Gwanak.

The Gwanak Branch held a monthly bazaar and made a profit of 200,000 won on March 11, at the Tongil Culture Hall. They also hold a cooking class, "Multicultural Families Take Up Korean Culture" every Friday.
