영월군지부(지부장:이정일)는 지난 5월 와 7월30일부터 8월3일까지 진행 되었던 강원도 영월 에서 여성연합의 활동홍보를 위한 사진 전시와 함께 부스를 운영하였다.축제 기간 동안의 먹거리 장터 사업을 통해 얻은 수익금 일부를 불우이웃 돕기 성금으로 영월군에 장학금으로 기탁하기도 했다. 영월군 지부는 지역의 축제 때마다 세계평화여성연합의 활동을 알리는 사업과 더불어 지역 다문화가정을 대상으로 하여 을 실시하면서 지역 다문화 활동에 열심을 다하고 있다.

Gangwon Yeongwol-gun Branch - Participate in Dongkang Festival

Yeongwol-gun Branch (Branch Manager Lee, Jung-il) displayed WFWP activity pictures for PR and ran a store named "Love Peace Food Market" at the Dongkang Festival in Gangwon-do Yeongwol from July 30 to Aug 3. They donated part of the profits to the needy in Yeongwol-gun in the form of scholarship. The Yeongwol Branch introduces WFWP activities to people through "Kimchi Making Practice" for multicultural families at every local festival.
