지난 8월 23일, 2009 지부특성화 시범사업을 계기로 이중언어강사 교육을 받고 초등학교 이중언어교사로 발령을 받은 경기북부 구리시지부 회원들이 문난영 회장을 찾아 감사의 마음을 전하고자 본부를 찾았다.

작년 2009년 지부특성화 시범사업으로 선정되었던 경기북부 구리시지부(지부장: 이명숙)는「결혼이민자 사업」을 통해 다양한 교육과 더불어 지역의 취업 정보를 전달하는 시스탬으로 진행 했었다. , 등 교육정보를 교육생들에게 전달 및 소개하였고, 특히 교육을 통하여 경기 북부회원 5명이 (일본어 부문 4명, 중국어 부문 1명) 경기도내 초등학교 이중언어교사로서 교직자의 길을 걷게 되었다.

* 지부특성화 사업은?

각 지역의 상황과 특성에 맞추어 다문화가족과 관련된 다양한 문화사업, 남북통일교육, 참가정 운동을 자체 지부가 주도적으로 기획, 실행하는 프로젝트 사업이다.

- 지역사회에서 NGO 단체와의 네트워크 및 본 연합 위상 정립

- 지부별 프로그램 기획 및 전문화 능력 강화

- 지역 특성 적합 프로그램실시로 지역 여성의 참여확대와 신입 회원확보

- 현장 활동을 중심한 회원들의 적극적인 참여확대 및 주인의식 함양

2010년 지부특성화 사업은 임의단체사업으로 현재 11지부의 11개 프로그램이 진행되고 있다.

Visit by North Gyeonggi Branch Members who became Bilingual Teachers of Elementary Schools through the 2009 Branch Specialization Activities

On August 23, members of Guri-si, the Northern Gyeonggi Branch who had received bilingual teaching education through the 2009 branch specialization demonstration project and have been appointed as bilingual teachers at elementary schools, visited Pres. Moon at the headquarters to express their gratitude.

Having been chosen for the 2009 branch specialization demonstration project last year, the Northern Gyeonggi Guri-si Branch (Branch Manager Lee Myeong Suk) held various education programs and a system delivering employment information in the community through the Marriage Immigrants Project. Training for Manpower in Interpretation and Translation, and Training of Home Coordination Professionals were introduced to trainees. Especially, five members of the Northern Gyeonggi Branch were chosen as bilingual teachers (four in Japanese, one in Chinese) at elementary schools in Gyeonggi-do through this “bilingual lecturer” education.

* What are Branch Specialization Activities?

Projects held by a branch itself which plans, executes and evaluates various cultural projects, North and South Korea unification education, genuine-family campaigns related to multi-cultural families that suit the circumstances and characteristics of each region.

* What are the purposes of Branch Specialization Activities?

- To establish a network with NGO groups in local communities and elevate the status of this federation

- To strengthen program planning and specialization abilities of each branch

- To expand participation of women in local communities and to secure new members by carrying out customized programs for each region

- To expand active participation and cultivate the sense of ownership of members centered on field activities

The 2010 branch specialization projects are voluntary programs. Eleven programs are being held in eleven branches.
