충북 충주시 지부는(지부장:우순화) 8월 5일부터 8월 8일(4일간)까지 개최된 에서 5일과 6일 이틀에 걸쳐 환경정비 봉사활동을 하였다.

5일에는 뜨거운 폭염 속에서 온몸을 땀으로 적셔가며, 6일에는 쏟아지는 폭우 속에서도 9명의 충주시 회원들은 시간대별로 편성하여 열심을 다하여 봉사활동에 참여 하였다.

또한 충주시 지부는 이외에도 에 소속되어 월 1회 거동이 불편하신 노인분들에게 이동 목욕봉사를 하고 있다

Chungbuk Chungju Branch

Chungbuk Chungju Branch (Woo Sun Hwa, branch manager) held the Chungju Lake Festival from August 5 to 8. They did volunteer environment maintenance on the 5th and 6th.

Nine members of Chungju branch participated by organizing time slots, sweating under the scorching heat on the 5th and even under heavy rain on the 6th.

Chungju branch also belongs to the Chungju city Volunteer Service Center. Bathing service is provided once a month to elderly people who are not able to move about freely.
