지난 2013년 12월 23일, 금강 대안학교에 ‘지구가족사랑 1%운동’ 기금으로 학생들의 옷장을 제작하여 지원하였다. 금강 대안학교는 북한이탈주민들의 자녀 및 중국 동포, 조선족 자녀들의 학업을 도와주고 있다. 본 연합의 지원에 대하여 북한이탈주민인 주명화 교장은 서툰 한국어로 학업이 어려운 학생들을 돌보며 남한에서의 사회 적응과 학업에 대한 교육에 최선을 다하겠다며 감사의 인사를 전했다.

The ‘1% Love Share Project’ supports the Geumgang Alternative School for New Settlers

On December 23, 2013, clothes closets were made with ‘1% Love Share Project’ funds and presented to the students of the Geumgang Alternative School. The Geumgang Alternative School is helping the children of North Korean defectors, Korean immigrants from China and from the border area with their studies. In response to the support of the WFWP, Principal Myeong Hwa Joo, a North Korean defector, expressed her gratitude, saying that she will do her best to take care of the students who have trouble studying in regular public schools and will educate them to adapt to the society in South Korea and will help them with their studies.
