6월11일 통일교육협의회 후원하고 여성연합이 주최한 ‘2013 도란도란 통일기행’이 ‘다가오는 통일을 준비하며!’라는 주제로 서울 광진지부 회원 및 지역 여성 40명이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.

이날 통일기행은 먼저 박영학 새터민 강사(큰샘방과후교실 대표)의 ‘남북한의 생활 무엇이 다른가!라는 강의를 통해 남과 북의 다른 점을 알아보고, 남한에 정착생활을 하고 있는 새터민들의 어려움을 알아보는 시간을 가졌다.

이후 민통선(민간인 통제 구역)에 위치한 해마루촌과 남⁃북간 갈등의 산물인 제3땅굴을 견학하며 통일의 필요성을 되새겨보았다.

The Seongju Branch of North Gyeongsang Province

The Seongju Branch (Branch Leader: Soon Rak Kim) carries out the volunteer work of holding origami classes for the mentally challenged at the Regional Self-Support Center every Monday. On May 15 they taught the people at the Center how to make lollipops out of paper, in commemoration of Teachers’ Day.

Moreover, they participate in local volunteer work by performing a dishwashing service at the Free Meal Service Center for single senior citizens under the management of Seonseok Temple (the local Buddhist service organization) on the fourth Wednesday of every month.
