지난 10월 21일, 통일부의 승인에 따라 북측지원에 따른 실무회의를 위하여 북측 개성 자남산 여관에 다녀왔다.

이날 북측에서는 3년 전 금강산 세계여성대회에 참석하였던 박영희 부장(북측 민화협)을 비롯하여 김숙희, 김춘순, 려현미 북측 민화협 직원이 참석하였으며, 여성연합에서는 문난영 회장, 최영선 사무총장, 김보호 과장, 위성선 지부장(경북)이 참석을 하였다.

어머니들의 작은 정성인 기금은 현재 여성연합 전 세계지부가 연대하여 전개하고 있으며, 그 활동과 지원 영역을 넓히고자 에서 으로 프로젝트 명을 확대 변경하여 활동하고 있다.

이번 개성 방문은 북측의 여성과 어린이를 대상으로 지원하고자 하는 품목과 지원 지역 선정에 대한 논의를 하였으며, 12월 4일 개성을 통하여 밀가루 100톤을 안주지역에 전달하였다.

Visiting Gaesung for Support of North Korean Women and Children

Last October 21, with permission of the Ministry of Unification, WFWP HQ officers went to the Gaesung Janamsan Hotel in North Korea to discuss practical support.

Kim Sook-hee, Kim Chun-sun, Ryeo Hyeon-mi and officers from the north's Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation, together with our President Moon Lan-young, Secretary General Choi Young-sun, director Kim Bo-ho, Gyeongbuk Branch Manager Wi Sung-sun.

Mothers' small conditions to fund the 1% Love Share Project have been assembled with the worldwide branches, and the name was changed from 1% Love Share Project for North Korea to 1% Love Share Project for the Global Family because we expanded our range of activities and support area.

Through this visit we were able to discuss items and select our support area for North Korean women and children. The WFWP HQ delivered 100 tons of rice flour to the Anju area on December 14.
