통일교육협의회 지원, 본 연합 통일분과(공동위원장:신기화,송혜건)주최로 열린가 지난 10월8일 평택 천안함과 철원안보지역에서 각각 진행되었다.

평택 천안함에서 진행된 교육에는 전남 전주지역과 강원 원주지역 초`중생들 90명이 참석하였다. 아직도 생생한 기억을 가지고 있는 천안함 피격 사건에 따른 경위와 전사자들의 기록을 서해 수호관 견학으로 알 수 있었으며 또한 피격된 천안함 선체를 눈으로 확인하면서 참석한 학생들은 남`북간의 대립과 분단의 현실을 실감하는 시간이 되었다.

철원안보 현장교육을 다녀온 강원 춘천지역 초`중생들 45명은 제2땅굴과 철원 평화전망대, 월정역, 노동당사를 견학하며 6.25 당시 철원의 구시가지와 노동당사를 돌아보며 분단국가의 현실과 평화의 중요성을 깨닫는 시간이 되었다.

본 연합은 미래 통일시대를 준비하며 청소년에게 통일캠프와 통일학교를 통해 이론과 현장 견학을 겸한 통일교육을 지속적으로 하고 있다.

True Love Unification Classes

True Love Unification Classes, sponsored by the Unification Education Council and organized by WFWP Subcommittee on Unification (joint chairs: Shin Ki-hwa, Song Hye-geon) started on 8 October, on the ship Cheonan in Pyeongtaek and at the security zone in Cheolwon, respectively. Ninety elementary and middle school students in the Jeonju region of Cheolla Province and Wonju region of Gangwon Province participated. They could see the details of the mystery and the records of the fallen sailors of the incident through this field trip to the pavilion, as they guarded the Yellow Sea and confirmed the raised sunken hull of the Cheonan with their own eyes to realize the conflict between south and north and the reality of division.

The 45 elementary and middle school students in the Wonju region of Gangwon province took a field trip to the 2nd Tunnel, the Peace Observatory in Cheolwon, Woljeong Station, the Labor Party’s Headquarter and Cheolwon’s old district that existed during the Korean War, to take time to understand the reality of the divided country and the importance of peace. WFWP prepares for the future unified era and continues unification education with instruction and field trips for youth, through the Unification Camp and Unification School.
