8월 17일, 대전지부의 다문화가정 부모와 자녀 45명은 통일교육협의회 지원하고 본 연합이 주최한 에 참여하였다.

지역에선 좀처럼 기회를 갖지 못하는 분단현장인 판문점과 남북회담장 견학과 함께 새터민 강사로 부터 북한 생활에 대한 강의를 듣는 시간을 가졌다.

다문화 이주 여성들은 직접 만나는 새터민으로 부터 알게 된 한국의 분단현실에 대하여 알 수 있는 기회가 되었으며, 아이들에게는 미래의 통일조국을 준비해야하는 책임감을 가져보는 시간이 되었다.

본 연합은 미래의 통일에 대하여 우리의 문제로 인식하고 생활 속에 체험하게 함으로써 통일운동에 참여하고 통일을 이루는데 작은 보탬이 되고자 하는 동기를 부여하자는 목적으로 현장교육 사업을 진행하고 있다.

True Love Tongil School - Visiting Panmunjeom

On 17 August, the Daejeon Branch's multicultural family parents and children, 45 people, participated in True Love Tongil School (Panmunjeom visit) which is supported by the Korean Council for Unification Education and organized by WFWP.

They had a rare chance to visit Panmunejom, the location for meetings between North and South Korea. The children listened to a talk from a North Korean defector about life in North Korea.

WFWP is working on field curriculum education to motivate our children to be involved in the unification movement and let them realize that future unification is our responsibility.
