통일교육협의회 지원사업인 2011년 통일캠프가 < 1박2일 참사랑 통일학교 >라는 주제로 7월 22일부터 23일까지, 통일문화분과(공동위원장:신기화, 송혜건 / 부위원장:강정심) 주최, 1박2일 일정으로 하이 서울 유스 호스텔에서 개최되었다.

다문화가정 초등생과 대학생 자원봉사자를 포함하여 모두 102명이 참가한 이번 캠프는 통일학교 입학식에 이어 새터민에게 듣는 북한 인민학교에 대한 강의, 판문점 및 제3땅굴, 도라산전망대를 다녀오는 분단현장 견학, 모둠별 활동 및 발표에 이어서 통일학교 졸업식 순으로 진행되었다.

캠프의 일정은 시청과 김철훈 사무국장의 강의를 통해서는 북한학생들의 학교생활을 알아보고, 통일에 대하여 고민해보는 시간을 가져보았다. 또한 분단현장인 을 통해서 분단의 국가임을 피부로 느끼고 평화에 대한 절대성을 생각해보게 되었다.

각 모둠별로 통일국가명, 통일국가, 통일국기를 만들어 보면서 앞으로 다가올 통일의 그날을 어떻게 준비할 것인가 고민해보는 시간으로, 통일은 막연히 기다리는것이 아니라 우리가 만들어가고 준비하는 통일이어야 함을 함께 배우고 생각하며 정리해보는 시간이 되었다.

짧은 1박2일로 진행된 캠프는 새터민과 나눈 이야기들과 나의 느낌과 생각, 앞으로의 통일국가를 만들어가는 나의 마음을 정리해보는 소감문과 함께 을 끝으로 통일캠프의 모든 일정이 마감되었다.

이번에 1박2일 통일학교에서는 통일에 대해 알아보고 현장견학을 하면서 “정말 통일이 필요하구나!” 하고 생각을 했다.
특히 통일을 이룬 독일의 영상을 볼 때 마음이 따뜻하고 단지 통일이 부럽다는 생각뿐만이 아니라 내가 학생으로서 통일을 위해 실천할 수 있는 일을 생각해 보기도 했다.
그리고 판문점에서는 선생님께서 우리나라의 제일 중요하고 제일 위험한 곳이 라고 말씀해 주셨다.
판문점은 재미만 있을 줄 알았는데 군인이 많아서 무서웠다.
그런데 옛날에는 북한과 남한이 서로 마주보고 일을 했다는 말을 듣고 놀랐다.
그리고 북한의 도끼사건 때문에 ‘왜 한 민족이 이렇게 됐을까?’하고 생각을 했다.
또 남북회담장에 마이크로 경계선이 그어져 있어 마음이 아팠다.
이제 보든 사람들이 통일을 위해 노력하여 하루 빨리 통일을 이뤄야겠다.

다문화가정 참사랑 통일학교를 1박2일 동안 있다 보니 발표력이 좋아진 것 같은 기분이 들었고, 제3땅굴을 견학하면서 ‘북한사람들이 이 땅굴을 파느라 얼마나 힘들었을까? 하는 생각이 들기도 했다.
나는 3모둠에서 오빠 언니 동생들과 같이 발표도하고 만들기도 하는 것이 정말로 즐거웠고, 협동과 사랑하는 마음이 가정 중요하다는 것을 알았다. 그리고 남북통일을 이루려면 참사랑으로 이루 수 있다는 것을 알게 되었다.
그리고 선생님과 같이 북한어린이들의 교과서와 교복 퀴즈도 푼 것도 너무 재미있었다.
나는 북한과 남한이 통일 되어 서로 존중하고 사이좋게 지내고 싶다.
독일 통일 동영상 을 시청하면서 정말 무서웠지만 다행히 독일 사람들은 장벽을 부수고 서로 사이좋게 지내서 정말 다행이다.
우리 대한민국 꼭꼭 통일이 되어 북한어린이들과 서로 사이좋게 지내겠다.
우리나라가 통일이 되기를 파이팅!

2011 Tongil Camp

Under the title of "True Love Tongil School," the Tongil Camp 2011 was held July 22~23, at High Seoul Youth Hostel.

This camp had 102 participants including multi-cultural families' elementary school students and university student volunteers. Tongil School started with a commencement ceremony; students attended a lecture about life at an "Inmin School" (People's School in North Korea) from a North Korean defector. They visiting the 38th parallel area including Panmunjeom, the Third Underground Tunnel, and Mt. Dorasan Observatory. During the programs they had time to meet by groups and give presentations. The camp concluded with a graduation ceremony.

The camp schedule included watching a German unification video, a talk on "The Haori People's School Story" by Kim Chul-hun. Through these two programs, children had time to think deeply about North-South Unification and learn about North Korean student life.

They had a chance to think about the meaning of lasting peace and felt that we are living in a divided nation. The students tried to come up with a name for the united Korea, its national anthem and flag by groups in order to prepare for the future, not simply wait for unification but also act and prepare for it substantially.

The one-night, two-day camp finished with the sharing of students' reflections at the graduation ceremony.

I thought that unification is really necessary through the two-day Tongil School program, which gave us a chance for a field trip and study about North-South Unification.
Especially, while watching about German unification I was not only envious but also imagined what I could put into action for unification.
The teacher explained that Panmunjeom is an important and dangerous place in Korea. At first I expected that Panmunjeom would be a fun place but in reality I was scared of the many soldiers.
I was surprised by the fact that this place was originally to have been an area for North and South Korean people to work together. And I wondered about this divided nation and the North Korean 'axe incident.' It was painful to see the boundary line at the location for North and South meetings.
It is time for us to exert our full efforts to accomplish unification.

I felt my presentation skill improved during the Multi-cultural Family True Love Tongil School programs. When we visited the Third Underground Tunnel, I also felt how difficult it must have been for North Korean soldiers to dig these tunnels.
While making presentation materials with the elder brothers and sisters, I realized that a loving heart and the spirit of teamwork is the most important thing. It was very fun for me.
I got to know that Unification is possible to achieve through true love.
Solving quiz questions from North Korean students' textbooks, and looking at their school uniform with the teacher was very interesting.
I would like to make friends with North Koreans and respect each other if we unite as one nation.
It really scared me when we watched the war scenes in the German Unification video. But fortunately, Germans were able to break the wall between them and form good relationships with each other.
Our Republic of Korea should absolutely make unity as one nation and make friends with North Korean kids.
Hoping for our unified nation -- the way to go!
