2010통일캠프 - 다문화10대들의 통일세상! 1박2일!

7월 28일~29일까지 강원국립 평창청소년수련원에서「다문화 10대들의 통일세상! 1박2일!」이라는 주제로 목포, 강원, 충남, 수도권지역 다문화가정 초등학교 4~6학년 학생 80여명이 함께 한 가운데 2010통일캠프(통일교육협의회 지원사업)가 개최되었다.

강릉 통일공원 통일안보전시관, 북한 잠수함, 우리나라의 퇴역군함, 대통령 전용기 등을 현장 체험 견학과 라는 주제로 새터민 대학원생 강사를 통해 북한의 생활을 직접 들어보고 궁금한 점을 질문해보는 간접체험 시간을 가졌다.

또한 통일기원 촛불제에서는 캠프파이어와 함께 통일의 그날을 기원하는 마음으로 통일기원 초에 점화를 하며 통일의 노래를 함께 불러 보았다.

1박 2일 동안 견학 및 강의 시간을 통해 보고 배운 내용을 떠올려 보면서 참석한 학생들은 “북한은 남이 아닌 우리와 같은 민족이며, 이웃이라는 생각과 함께 미래 통일국가를 위한 국가, 국기 등 새롭게 많은 것을 준비도 해야 할 것 같다. 그리고 통일을 잘 준비하기 위해서 더욱 중요한 것은 서로의 의사소통 인 것 같다”는 공통된 의견들을 발표하기도 했다.

우수 소감문을 선정하여 발표하고, 1박2일 동안 열심을 다한 VIP 모둠을 시상하며, 다문화10대들의 통일세상! 1박2일의 모든 일정을 마감 했다.

통일캠프 참여 우수소감문

친구들과 함께 캠프를 가기로 했다. 아침 6시 집합해서 평창으로 출발하였다.

장장 6시간이 넘게 걸려 도착을 했다. 친한 친구들과 다른 조가 되어 짜증이 났지만 그 생각은 시간이 지날 수 록 바뀌어 갔다.

강릉통일공원 이라는 곳에서 잠수함도 직접 타보고, 우리 민족의 고통이 그대로 전해져 있는 사진을 많이 보았다. 정말 참담하고 잔인했다. 6.25때도 마찬가지였다. 분단의 아픔이 고스란히 담겨 있었다. 난 그것을 보고 통일을 해서 지금도 고통 받는 이산가족들에게 희망을 안겨주면 좋겠다고 생각을 했다. 북한에서 온 오빠를 보고도 많은 생각을 했다.

정말 이번 캠프는 나에세 많은 생각을 안겨 준 것 같다. 통일세상 1박2일을 체험하고 나서 나는 통일의 중요성과 통일이 왜 필요한지 알게 되었다.

Peace and Unification

2010 Unification Camp for Teenagers The 2010 Unification Camp was held with the theme "A Unified World for Multicultural Teenagers!" with eighty 4th-6th graders from Mokpo, Gangwon-do, Chungcheongnam-do, and the Seoul area at the National Youth Center of Korea in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, from July 28-29.

Students toured the National Security Exhibition Center of the Unification Park in Gangneung, and saw a North Korean submarine and South Korean warship, a presidential airplane, etc. They had time to hear saetomin (refugee) instructors’ stories about life in North Korea and ask questions.

During the time of the Unification Prayer Candlelight Ceremony, they lit each a candle and sang songs together at a campfire, wishing for the day of unification.

During reflection, many students expressed that "We are the same people as our North Korean neighbors. We can prepare a new national anthem, national flag, etc. for the future unified nation. The most important thing is communication in preparing unification."

The Unification Camp closed with a presentation of the best impressions and an award for the group that had worked the hardest during the one night and two days.

I decided to go to camp with my friends. We left Pyeongchang at 6 in the morning. It took a good 6 hours to arrive. At the beginning I was upset because I couldn't be together with my friends in the same group, but this thought changed as time passed.

We visited the Gangneung Unification Park and got on a real submarine. I saw many pictures which conveyed our people's pain. The Korean War was very miserable and cruel; the pictures show the pain of division. After looking at the pictures I thought that we should become one country in order to give hope to separated families. I also had many thoughts after meeting the saetomin brother. This camp gave me a precious realization of the importance and need for unification.
