지난 4월 13일 중랑지부(지부장:조정민)는 125명의 회원이 참석한 가운데 중랑지부 강당에서 ‘동지부장 및 회원교육’을 열었다.

이날 교육은 박종인 부교회장의 사회로 시작되었으며 박길남 교회장(중랑구)의 환영사, 난타 축하공연, 최영선 사무총장(본부)의 활동보고, 6명의 신임 동지부장 임명장 수여, 문난영 회장의 특강 순으로 진행되었다.

교육에 참석한 회원들은 문난영 회장이 세계를 직접 순회하면서 경험하고 체험한 내용들이 절절하게 가슴에 와 닫는다고 소감을 전했으며 신입 회원들은 여성연합의 활동보고를 통해 많은 것을 새롭게 알게 되었고, 여성연합의 위상에 크게 놀랐다고 말했다. 앞으로 중랑지부는 다양한 활동프로그램을 구상중이며 지역 활동에 적극적으로 참여할 예정이다.

The Dong Branch Leaders’and Members’ Workshop Held in the Joongrang Branch of Seoul

On April 13, the Joongrang Branch (Branch Leader: Jeong Min Cho) held the ‘Dong Branch Leaders’ and Members’ Workshop’ at the Joongrang Branch lecture hall, attended by 125 members.

The workshop was opened by the MC, Deputy Church Leader Jong In Park, and the welcoming address was given by Church Leader Gil Nam Park (Joongrang-gu), followed by a congratulatory performance of Nanta, an activities report by Secretary-General Yeong Seon Choi (Headquarters), the presentation of the certificates of appointment to six newly appointed Dong branch leaders, and the special lecture of President Lan Young Moon.

The members who took part in the workshop said that what President Lan Young Moon had shared with them about her personal experiences in touring across the world deeply moved their hearts, and the new members said that they had come to learn many new things through the report on the activities of the WFWP, and that they were much amazed by the global status of the WFWP. The Joongrang Branch is drawing up a diversity of programs to carry out locally, and they also plan to take an active part in local volunteer work.
