경기북부 가평지부(지부장:구옥임)는 지난 7월 12일 현대 웨딩홀에서 김성기 가평군수 부부와 이병제 군의회의장 및 4명의 군의원, 읍, 면장 등 가평군 주요 단체장들과 가평군 군민 300여명이 참석한 가운데 ‘인류 한 가족 평화세계’라는 주제로 '21C 여성지도자 포럼'을 개최하였다.

이은경 사무국장의 사회로 개회, 축가, 구옥임 지부장(가평)의 환영사, 김성기 군수(가평군)와 이병재 군의회장(가평군)의 축사, 문난영 회장의 주제강연 순으로 진행되었다.

가평군지부는 포럼을 계기로 인적자원과 환경, 그리고 열정이 갖춰진 지부로 앞으로 지역사회에 중심적 역할을 담당하는 여성연합의 가평지부가 되겠다고 의지를 전했다.  

‘21C Women Leaders Forum’ hosted in Gapyeong Branch, Northern Gyeonggi Province

Gapyeong Branch of Northern Gyeonggi Province (Branch Leader: Ok Yim Gu) hosted the ‘21C Women Leaders Forum’ on July 12 last at Hyundai Wedding Hall under the title, ‘A World of Peace with Humanity as One Family’, attended by more than 300 heads of major organizations and residents of Gapyeong-gun, including Magistrate Seong Gi Kim of Gapyeong-gun and his wife, Speaker Byeong Je Lee of Gun Assembly and four Gun Assemblymen, and Eup and Myeon headmen.

The forum was opened by the MC, Administrative Director Eun Gyeong Lee, followed by congratulatory songs, a welcoming address given by Branch Leader Ok Yim Gu (Gapyeong), congratulatory addresses by Magistrate Seong Gi Kim (Gapyeong-gun) and Speaker Byeong Je Lee of Gun Assembly (Gapyeong-gun), and the keynote speech by President Lan Young Moon.

Gapyeong-gun Branch expressed their determination to make this forum an opportunity for them to become a branch equipped with human resources, environment, and passion, and to become a Branch that can play a central role in the local society in future.
